Meanwhile, Lennon has revealed that he hopes to have at least one new signing in the door before the weekend’s Premiership opener against St Johnstone.

Clearly whoever is coming in no one has a clue who it is and it isn't a right back. Interesting on that front..

Sounds like a negotiating tactic to me. He seems to be telling this lad and his agent that there are alternatives.
I think it is a positive.

Annoying no knowing who any of these player's are

 

I feel that agents are trying to get a premium for their players because they know we are desperate for a right-back. I think that this is the clubs way of saying we won’t be ridden by anyone.

Rightly so, i get that.....but how many right backs are * us about..

Surely this doesn't happen to club's as much as it's happening here, for one position..

Likes of Ankersen wanted 20 grand and he's playing for Copenhagen where he'll be on nothing like that at 28. It's mental..

There must be a right back out there that's desperate to get a chance at number one right back for us in Europe..

 

We can get three in if we want, but they won't be match fit so we won't be able to use them for one of the most important games in the entire season.

Farcical.

 

I find it mad how everyone knows what Copenhagen are paying him, it seems to be plucked from thin air. There is often more to these things than just what we think of too.

I’m not absolving the board of any blame here, I have said before that they have clearly made mistakes in this area and the right-back situation should have been resolved long before now, but Lennon’s words seem to be a reminder to the player and his agent that all our eggs aren’t in their basket.
