Clocked that as well! Tbf it was last chance to squeeze in some dates since they start the new album early 2020.

So it's a baw hair under 45 quid a ticket. Not sure I want to catch them that badly...

That's pretty ridiculous for their size. I'm away to see Dylan and Neil Young at Hyde Park later and I was £85.

Totally! What made it complicated for me is that none of my mates like this stuff, so I'd need to fork out 90 quid and drag someone along so effectively paying 90 quid to go myself.

Would be interested to see what they charged before touring with Metallica.

I probably won't go to any other gigs this year so I'm not too fussed about spending 45 quid on Ghost tbh. One of very few bands I really want to see live.

The price for a lot of gigs are quickly going up. Some are vastly overpriced.

Just a couple of weeks ago Ticketmaster was offering 2 for 1 tickets on some gigs.

I see what we all guessed has been confirmed today. There will be no more TITP.

TRNSMT is on the tv from tonight. 9pm on BBC Alba and then 10pm on BBC Scotland.

I'd fork out 45 quid no bother. But I'd need to buy two tickets and see if I can find someone who fancies a night out - that's my problem here. If it was £30/35 a ticket I wouldn't have a problem.

It's gutting as its going to be a cracking night.

    Why not go yourself?

Only ever been to one gig on my own but if it’s a band you love then needs must.

I might go to that if the new Alter Bridge album is a cracker. Seen both bands a few times and Shinedown have went down the toilet since The Sound of Madness, so in no real rush to see them again.

Aye...i was never a fan of shinedown. But were excellent live. Seen alterbridge a few times now and always play a blinder.

Biggest turn off with Shinedown is the singer is a bit of a pellet at gigs, always going on about "loving each other" and all that patter.:giggle1:

Alter Bridge are incredible live. Myles Kennedy is the best singer in rock/metal, imo.

Aye you do. It will be well worth it imo.

You won’t regret it mate if you decide to go :50:

They play quite a long set apparently plus have 2 support bands.

Never seen them live before but I just know from watching live performances online that it is going to be amazing. Been wanting to see them for ages.

Have seen some people say that last time they were in Glasgow at the O2 ABC that it was about £25 a ticket so it’s a fair jump in price but they are easily my favourite band atm so I don’t mind paying that.

Haha read back mate up mate. I'd need to buy two tickets and find someone to drag along for a night. So in reality it's 90 quid to see them.

Not sure how I feel about going to a gig myself!

Sorry mate literally seen your other post after I had posted that :giggle1:

Never been to a gig myself but some of my music taste varies from my friends so some times I have considered it.

I think you might be surprised if you play Ghost around some of your mates tbh. I have played it around my friends and one in particular is completely addicted to them now :56:

I think some people see the image of the band and think that’s not for me. There music is great and their imagery just adds to the whole experience. People probably expect an extremely heavy metal band which is not true in reality. I would say they were more of a rock band with some extremely catchy vocals :giggle1:

This. First time I saw a picture of them I was expected some screamo pish or a Behemoth imitation. But they're nothing like that at all.

Think the vocals are what puts a lot of people off them, though. Because instrumentally they are incredible.

I think a lot of people think his voice is too soft for the instrumentation but I think his vocals are great.

If Tobias was screaming vocals I just wouldn’t be able to get into them as much I am, despite how amazing they are instrumentally.

I have listened to his earlier bands. Couldn’t get into Repugnant at all, far too death metal/screamo for me. Subvision however I really like what I have heard of them.
