Doubt he will restrict KT with going forward look at Izzy when Lennon first signed him he was bombing up the pitch all day long.

I don’t think Lennon is going to change that to be fair.

At least Tony Soprano is from Naples and been there, Pauli shagged a prostitute who was from the same area as his family in Naples. London cant compete with that

Henrik showed astonishing loyalty but fans forget he was our highest paid player ever, on 40grand a week at a time when 100k was basically the global ceiling in wage terms. Money talks for every human on earth, despite the ‘I’d play for Celtic for free’ comments from ill informed fans.
He did everything he could at Celtic, the team failed to win a European title so he left to fulfil his dreams of a Champions League and spells in quality, competitive leagues.

Tierney of course isn’t close to Larsson as a player but he too will want to leave.

    Acceptance, not denial folks.

Love the spin the daily * has on it

    Pic of KT and Lenny

Headline “heart to heart as tierney mulls over his options”

Sensationalism at its optimum! How the * does Fraser Wilson know KT could be saying anything to Lennon!

Not all players are greedy money grabbing *
a know Sinclair had made a few bob but like Larson happiness plays a part

Sinclair admitted himself he more than halved his salary coming to Celtic but he was back doing what he enjoys playing football on a regular basis, winning trophies and enjoying life and football again and still making a very comfortable living rather than festering away on the bench

Larson was same, family being settled and living in a country he enjoyed and also remembering Celtic got him out a hole in feyenoord and as you say still earning a * great living

How much money do these * need

    Changed their tune now

“Celtic star Kieran Tierney looks to be having a heart-to-heart with Neil Lennon as Arsenal prepare a second bid for the full-back.”

I can see club accepting a bid of £25m, as I don’t feel like the board are confident of any CL-money coming in this year(I’m not saying I’d agree with accepting an offer like that). That is if we get offered that in the first place. After that the ball would very much be in Tierney’s court.

I’m not confident at all that he’ll stay for the 10IAR. I hope he does though.

if he stays it will be hailed as a new signing and reason not to spend.

What Larsson showed that if you pay them well ,good players would stay at Celtic .
lawwell has decided to run Celtic like an sports academy rather than a football club ,money spent on disco lights hotels and * rotating screens rather than on a contract to keep a Celtic fan and world class footballer like Tierney content here is the problem

See if it’s Tierney s decision to leave and go to Arsenal I certainly wouldn’t be badmouthing him but would be pretty disappointed in him

He’s always saying “ he could definitely be a one man player at Celtic, he just turned 22 , getting 100k a month, living the dream playing with his boyhood hereoes with fans who absolutely adore him , making history and on the verge of making more

The least he can do is wait till after ten, if he goes for the cash he can * off and shove his wee megaphone up his *

You talk some amount of pish henrik was on between 35 and 40 grand yes but 60 to 80 grand was th highest ceiling at the time just to prove you wrong it is common knowledge that klos at rangers with his wage and ebt was earning more than a certain CL winner who scored the winner Zidane at the time back in the day

We could match a lot of bigger teams in england for wages back then, 15-20 years ago before sky money really exploded us and deadco's wage bills were among the biggest in the uk, the money a Larsson would command in today's market would make our eyes water. Literally a different time in football, it's a daft comparison to make.

An example of the financial gap from when larrsson was here is , we drew Liverpool in uefa cup and fans were quietly confident we could beat them, went down to Ann field totally played them off the park and won 2-0,

Now we are struggling to get to the group stages and they are winning the champions league
