Would start Sinclair but get Johnston on from the bench.

Sinclair can be a big game player but we will be able to tell by 50 mins if he is gonna make an impact.

    Brown McGregor
    Forrest Rogic Johnston
    Edouard
De Vries, Bitton, Tierney, Ntcham, Henderson, Sinclair, Dembele

Thats what I would pick if Lustig, Christie and Burke are injured. If Lustig is ok i'd bench him instead of Bitton, same with Christie in place of Dembele. Burke hasn't made an impact for too long and won't be coming back so he'd be out my squad anyway.

Tierney I wouldn't play but i'd bench him to get the medal, seems why he's been left to hing about until the end of the season but even today just jogging around in the celebrations he didn't look right.

Main reason i'd drop Sinclair for Johnston is Johnston is just much more direct and moves around more, also that Brandon who I think came on a sub at right back was all over Sinclair, Sinclair never got past him once as he just shut Sinclair down and Sinclair always does that thing where he takes a pass then walks or stands and Brandon was just running right into him and taking the ball. Johnston is more pro active and would be running at him not giving him the chance.

Their own fans were actually calling out their own bigots on one of their forums recently, tbf. It was @McGuire that mentioned it.

Didn't hear them much yesterday anyway.

I was at the under 19s Scottish Youth Cup Final at Airdrie's stadium yesterday morning and both teams had a bigger support than Hearts did at Parkhead. Absolute tinpot club.

I hope we give them a going over on Saturday. A Levein meltdown would top the day off.

So Johnston scored 2, got MOTM and put in the type of performance we haven’t seen from Sinclair in a long, long time.

Yet some people would still rather Sinclair start next week? I don’t quite understand that.

    This.

Players should be picked on form.

Sinclair is way off form, Johnstone - judging obviously from the last game - is ON form.

    They did aye..

They still have far too many *'s for my liking. They even admit they have a high percentage of bigot scum amongst them..

Whether you prefer one over the other it’s really not difficult to understand at all. One’s experienced in big games and has a vast back catalogue of end product. The other, rightly or wrongly, has been thrown in at the deep end at Ibrokes twice this season and was nowhere to be seen.

I wouldn’t be unhappy if Johnston got his shot but the Sinclair bashing is massively OTT.

Johnston has been thrown under the bus at Ibrox twice this season. However the fact he started last week when Sinclair was available gives an indication as to how often Sinclair hides in games these days.

For me, Johnston deserves the shot because he's more in from. His confidence will be sky high, while Sinclair's will probably be as low as it has been for long enough. That's now 3 months without a goal for Sinclair.

Hearts will want to turn this game into a battle in the midfield, we need guys that are prepared to stand up and be counted when the tackles start flying in. Sinclair gets the nod for me given his dig and ability to hold the ball up.

I don't think it'll be Johnston or Sinclair I think he's going to play Tierney and have Hayes on the left to take some of the pressure off Tierney.

Like I said, I wouldn’t deny he deserves a shot if he gets it but you said you don’t understand folk that would prefer Sinclair. It’s simple logic.
