    I will not say the guy is useless, that he cannot perform, but there is always a point where the money we could get for a player is more useful than himself for us and he is surely past it. He had issues with his attitude in Genoa, here. If a big name manager such as Rodgers couldnt command his respect and bring the best out of him, no manager we could possibly get will.

    PORTO are set to make a fresh bid for Celtic ace Olivier Ntcham.

    The Portuguese giants want the Hoops midfielder, who arrived in Glasgow from Manchester City for £4.5million in 2017.


    But the Scottish champions will have to settle for significantly less than the £14m the Primeira Liga side were prepared to pay for him in January.

    Porto boss Sergio Conceicao is a long-term admirer of the Frenchman.



    Conceicao has been tracking the 23-year-old for the past 12 months and has twice been thwarted in his efforts to prise him away from Parkhead.

    Porto are resigned to losing skipper Hector Herrera on a free at the end of the season, with Atletico Madrid set to sign him.

    And they have earmarked Ntcham to replace Herrera.

    Use the money to get a couple of players in that are hungry and will want to impress.
