Tams injuries have been very frustrating last 18 - 24 months.

He’s 26 and hasn’t played 200 career club games yet.

If he’d played ful seasons the last two years he would have 15-20 goals a season and we’d be looking at 20 million plus .

I like Rogic but I think he will struggle in England, although I hope he does well, I think he is more suited to somewhere like Italy.
15m would be reasonable, he has never been a great European performer.

Don't want us to sell him at all.
We don't need to and he's on a long term contract so any potential suitors can pay top dollar, not that it makes any difference as we probably wouldn't see it reinvested in the playing staff anyway.

However, can also see the merits in potentially a great bit of business given his fitness and injury problems and the fact that he is more dispensible than the likes of KT, Calmac, Forrest.

Does anybody know if tams always had injury problems ?

Can’t remember ever being fit for a good run of 30 games, always seems to get into a good stride then gets injured before going onto another level

Cheers , just checked Wikipedia and he’s played 57 league games last three years (12 this season). 15 goals which is decent return but like I mentioned earlier I reckon he could 15+ a season if he played most league games.

Man City? Leipzig? Our best European performances under Brendan Rodgers and a fit Rogic was at the heart of them.

I'll be seething too, mate. We all will. Quite apart from his value as a player, he's one of us.

Jeez if he can barely manage 60 minutes in scotland , * knows how he will have the fitness to last in england. If Rodgers genuinely wants him, he will get him- although again these articles are coming from 'sources in Australia' which is from a newspaper who linked Rogic away from us 3 years ago lol

The Aussies desperately want him in the premier league and it seems like every 6 months they 'link' him away from us. Realistically he will be probably go to Southampton/Brighton if he wants to leave

People said the exact same about Shaun Maloney and he was fine down there. Not as many games, less pressure, generally a higher standard when it comes to the medical side (why that is I have no idea), nae plastic pitches to aggravate muscle injuries...

Was good away to Anderlecht as well. Hauled off 60 odd minutes in again though.

Not sure how you can compare Rogic to Shaun Maloney ? Maloney also only had 1 good season in the premier league. A fully fit Rogic would be in my starting xi in the league but in European competitions? no way, he's had about 3 good performances in Europe (Champions League + Europa League) because the pace of the game is too fast for him to make an impact. How many pl teams will sit back against the likes of Southampton/ Leicester and let Rogic have time on the ball? not too many I would imagine

Also I think the result of that Anderlehct game has clouded your judgement of his individual performance which was pretty poor.

I think he's a cracking player, but I'd still accept a decent offer for him. It's a constant theme of: out injured, gets back in, needs game time to get match fit, gets match fit is great for a few games then... out injured. Rinse and repeat. Add in the travelling he has to do for internationals and he's out of action more than he plays for us. If he were anywhere near the top of his game for 80%+ of our season it'd be a different story.

The amount of space and time in the final 3rd in the Premiership is mental compared to up here where it’s all rushed and cramped. Think he’d be just fine.

Thought he done very well against Anderlecht, worked superbly hard and worked the ball well, got us up the pitch a lot with his hold up play.

Tom Rogic’s agent has stressed he is focused only on securing the treble Treble amid interest from two Premier League clubs.

Record Sport revealed earlier this week the Australian international is the subject of interest from former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers , who is now at Leicester.

Southampton are also understood to be keen on the 26-year-old but Celtic have placed a £15million price tag on him.

But Rogic ’s representative, Daniel Berman, insists his player is going nowhere and is only concentrating in making history with Celtic .

Berman said: "I've had no contact from Southampton or Leicester.

"Tom is on a long contract, is winning trophies, respects and loves the institution that is Celtic Football Club.

"For him, it's all about the treble Treble."

Rogic has made 33 appearances for Celtic this season and netted five goals, although he's only scored once since October in the Scottish Cup semi-final romp against Aberdeen.

He is contracted to the champions for another four years.
