It's a rarity mate, I don't disagree with you but the vast majority of people involved in Football will always chase the money rather than silverware

I agree he was a good manager for us mate but it's no disgrace in being a level below Rodgers in terms of the overall package..

That'll be the media line as well, how he was scared of the Huns and Gerrard.

Just always remember, they beat us once in 13 and since that win, they've actually went further behind us.

This has * all to do with any other club, it's Rodgers decision - poorly timed as well.

It was nine years ago when Lennon was manager, football is changing rapidly, Lennon won't be able to recapture his European hit rate with wins over the likes of Barca, it's not happening.

Going for a quadruple treble and 9iar.

Tierney, Calmac, Forrest, Edouard, Shved and Rogic etc still here.

    We’ll be fine.

Must admit that this is a big blow and the football world is full of charlatans.

When Rodgers claimed he grew up supporting us I was always a bit sceptical.

Anyway...I'd be happy enough with Lenny in until the end of the season.

I'm not overly fussed about BR leaving - I never felt he was the Messiah that some claimed. I am a bit * off about his timing though!

Lenny till the end of the season is not a bad shout - we know he can do a job. Thereafter? Steve Clarke! He's got a great CV and his recent work with Killie has been nothing short of sensational. Would he come though (given his recent comments on sectarianism)?

What a weird * season this has been - and to think how positive it was looking going into it!

Honestly a wish people would * up about Europe. With the money involved that ship is sailing further over the horizon every year.

    This is about the 10!

Well it's not Rodgers was going to do it either so what's your point? Lennon was still fantastic domestically as well.

    Incredibly disappointing.

It’s bad enough that he’d consider leaving at this point of the season anyway, but for it be for a mid-table club who seem to typify the English managerial merry-go-round, is especially galling. Is he truly that desperate for a job in the EPL? They’re basically Chelsea Jr. with the way they treat their managers. You could probably get decent odds for him getting sacked in a year to sixteen months after Jamie Vardy takes the hump.

While I’ll always appreciate everything he’s done for the club, and it’s something that should never be played down, this would definitely tarnish his legacy here for me. The fact that he looks like a hypocrite after kicking up a fuss over Boyata & Dembele makes the whole thing look like an even bigger farce.

No surprise from me he is off but to leave now is shocking, the one thing it proves about him is money is more important than legacy. Imagine even thinking about leaving when you are a few games away from securing a treble treble, what a *.

I wish the board had let him go last summer now.

I feel like many fans are being harsh on the concept of Lennon coming back.

No harm having him until end of season and gauge how the players react to him along the way.

Not a patch on Rodgers domestically that's an undeniable fact. My point is it doesn't matter who's here, Europe is a dead parrot for us. We'll get in to the CL once in a while, perhaps even get out of the EL groups once in a while but when money is being pished away in France, England, Spain, Italy, Germany etc... we aren't going to achieve anything of serious note.

Yep of course, thats just huns grasping at straws, like I said Celtic given league and cup positions have to move very quickly and get people in who know the club hence Lenny with Broony, do the treble and then reconsider way forward.
