Things have to have been really bad between him and PL. That's the only thing that would make any sense to me. To walk when you're standing on the brink of history is mind blowing! The only guy smiling at this news will be PL. Makes you wonder who you can really trust in this game. Here we are not quite clear to winning the league, a semi final in the cup and important games coming up and he just walks away. It's totally unbelievable.

I would take Lenny back as he's the one guy who will know what it's all about right now and is capable of steering us to the treble.

Clarke and Moyes make Allardyce look attacking , brutal football and then there's pressure not the right fit.

If it's Lenny, the treble treble could be under threat.

One of the biggest curiosities of Lenny/BR, was that BR's record domestically has been untouchable, whilst Lenny's was patchy, yet in Europe it was Lenny who got the big results, whilst BR has been poor.

Lenny left us with a win ratio of 70%
Rodgers is currently sitting on 69.82%

I was truly gutted when lennon left us but hes the logical option right now. Knows the club, the players, the league, the oppositions.

I understand it might seem like step backwards but 10 in a row is now in jeopardy. We cant afford to take risks.

Huns forums full of glee...standard response BR couldnt hack it after gers beat them .....predicting meltdown at Hearts....we need to have someone in asap with the passion and understanding of the club to maintain momentum.... so Lenny and Broony should step in and stabilise the ship in short term.

Peter Lawwell will not be smiling. As much as he's a stingy * and seems to have had disagreements with Rodgers, he'll know as well as anyone how valuable BR is(was)

Lenny is underrated in terms of the improvements he made in players. VVD and Vic being 2 however we had lesser lights like Izzy, Kayal, Mathews, Wilson, Ledley who prospered under Lenny. Injury robbed him of the chance to add Rogic to that list

Would love someone like the Salzburg coach. We should be ambitious, don’t lower the manager budget.

Is it just possible that he is making this move to give the current board a serious wake up call and nothing more? on a different topic, I don't want to see Lenny back as he carrying too much baggage , not all his fault but that's the reality of it.

See that happening, It's going to take something monumental and shocking in relation to the new manager to keep season renewals above 50,000.

Gonna throw another name out there....

    Henry.

Larsson will have bigged us up, Maloney will have had a word with him at Belgium.
Clearly wanting to cut it at management...

Nah just kidding, it'll actually be some no mark pish.

Who's winning the championship these days?

Yeah that was bad but still was our only defeat in the group stages(at home). apart from losing against one of the greatest club sides ever 1-0. I have absolutely no doubt we would have done better if he was properly backed after the tremendous run we had the previous year. (Whether the club actually do this time I don't know)

Also Lennon can win a game at EasterRoad so there's that.
