You see this is the problem with the bed wetters. They get so caught up they can't see that to not win the league someone else will have to win it. No matter how emotional and irrational they get about it we are still going to be favourites to win the league next season whoever the manager is. Those are just the facts. If we were in a league with Barcelona or even Leicester this might make some sense. However we aren't.

I never really believed he was here for the 10, that after 2 or 3 years a decent job in England would call, but leaving at this stage of the season is absolutely bollocks if he does, leaving us scrambling to find a replacement. If he does go you can bet his first piece of business will be trying to nab KT from us in the summer as well.

Gutted. He's made Harston look like a * now as well as he was defending him the other night saying he wouldn't go to Leicester

Takes a lot for me to get genuinely angry at anything in football now because it's so entirely money-driven across the board, but I'm genuinely angry at Rodgers. And yet I know it was the embarrassing lack of backing he got repeatedly that made up his mind for him. Still, always thought he was incredibly fake. * loved him as a manager, but seems like such a phony * all round.

Rodgers was shafted by our board in the summer and January. He's been pushed. No way would he take the Leicester job over Celtic otherwise

Offer the money and our board WILL accept it.

I get it, I'm just proving the point that in order to get anywhere NOW in europe unlike before in the past under guys like WGS, Lennon or MON, serious money needs spending regularly on players that gets you the likes of a Gamerio, Kongdogbia and other examples.

It's money that we can't spend, we might spend every summer around £10mill on players but teams like Ajax and others will spend triple that and that is why they are making progress, we can not take risks with the wages that comes ontop of spending £20mill - £30mill on players every year which is why we are in recession in europe.

If he had any intention of taking the team tomorrow night I don’t think he’d be heading down to Leicester today.

How has that made it harder to get a decent result at home or away in Europe though?

The financial gap was always there... are you trying to say man united are even further ahead of Celtic now than five years ago because of money they spend on players? They’ve always had the best of players at their club.

Financial disparity has always been there.

Seems like Leicester want him in now, or no deal, if that holds, then BR is being heavily dictated to from the off, ie come now or we move elsewhere, shows how much Rodgers wanted out of Celtic then, as if he waited he could have joined a similar type club given the managerial merry go round in England. As for fans hysteria that Rodgers will raid Celts in summer for KT Mcgregor etc, why would these guys want to join, an at best mid table EPL side, offering as much as any other similar team, basically making the EPL numbers up. This is a backwards move for Rodgers or any current Celt lured there, Leicester can never get higher than 7th / 8th and a Europa place. Predict he will stabilise Leicester win nowt and move on, Allardyce and co the usual suspects are now getting on so a new generation of club hoppers is due.

Mate just spotted Frank Lampard in Slaters, overhead him asking for an "interview suit". Make of that what you will.

At least Lennon appreciates the importance of 10 in a row.....i'm taking some comfort in that.
