In the span of a week we've seen the best and worst of Broon. Screamer on Sunday, * the ball away numerous times on Thursday, scoring a potentially league winning goal the next Sunday. I can be critical of his passing at times, but there's no one in that squad I love more than that man. A true Celtic legend.

    He’s a winner, a leader and a legend.

Yes, his legs have started to go but no one deserved that goal as much as him.

Rules are if you celebrate by leaving the pitch you can be booked.

Also, you can’t appeal a booking.

Take the well earned rest Broony.

You can appeal a booking on the grounds of mistaken identity. We can just claim Madden obviously mistook Broony for a fan, as Broony didn’t run into the fans... :fear:

I'd still appeal anyway cite every single instance a hun player's left the pitch and never been booked and see what happens, it's the sfa we're dealing with here.

Has this rule been changed? I thought a booking couldn’t be appealed to be honest.

Hearts winger Jamie Walker and Partick Thistle forward Ade Azeez have been cleared of diving after being booked last week.

A Scottish FA disciplinary tribunal upheld their clubs' appeals against their yellow cards.

Azeez had been cautioned after going down under a challenge by Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon during Thistle's 4-1 defeat on Friday.

Walker was booked after a collision with Rangers' Jason Holt on Saturday.

The Edinburgh side lost the Scottish Premiership game 2-0 at Ibrox.

Both players have now had their yellow cards rescinded.

Azeez had been booked by referee Craig Thomson 10 minutes from the end of the Glasgow derby with his side trailing 3-1.

John Beaton cautioned Walker, who was substituted by Hearts early in the second half, four minutes before half-time with the visitors 1-0 behind.

Earlier this season, Walker had been retrospectively banned for two matches for simulation after Beaton awarded Hearts a penalty in their 2-1 defeat by Celtic in August.

You sure i'm sure some yellow cards this season have been changed to reds or no bookings at all.

I'd want to see what the rules are for why Brown was booked then.

Is it because he instigated/initiated the crowd reaction/first to go to the crowd? Because that was Mcgregor - mistaken identity then, or is Madden just booking Brown because he can?
Or is it a case that any player leaving the pitch to celebrate gets booked? In which case more than half our team needs to be booked today - not taking in to consideration the countless players every week that do it.
