They’re about even for me, Eddy tends to stop it dead when he does, Burke miscontrols a lot but fights for it a lot. Evens there.

Edouard is a lot smoother on the ball and with a nicer touch but I feel like we always have to give him the perfect pass and he always has to have a bit of time to get going once he recieves it. If he has to react quick if the ball is a bit away from him or he is shut down or bumped he gives in too easy and loses it near enough every time. He's a very soft player for me probably even worse than Samaras for it. Like balls in the air he only ever seem to take the ball down on the chest when people aren't near him if he had to head it 9 times out of 10 he won't even attempt to.

Burke is actually more like a real number 9 physically, he brushes people aside and latches onto balls he probably shouldnt win and can hold off and get away from people under pressure. Would actually like to see Bain launch more balls to Burke in the air, with his decent height and agility he should be able to win headers, there was a good few times tonight we could have gone direct to him and tried to get flick ons for Sinclair, Christie and Weah to go running in behind on to as Hibs played a high line and were pushing forward when we had it in defence but we went for short passing every time.

the only thing Edouard has over him is CLASS , hard work goes a long way in the game though and he's a presence.
When he gets a chance to stretch out last couple of games showed he had turn of pace too.

They had Harvey Barnes on loan up until January, he is class! But now I only know of Jay Rodriquez, Robson Kanu and Dwight Gayle . Gayles decent but the other 2 are bang average

He's got so much potential it's frightening. If we can get him for £9/10m I'd snap their hand off.

If we are willing to pay £9m for Eddy, then we should at least match that for Burke.

He has phenomenal movement up front. He'll create double the opportunities Eddy gets from his pace and harrying defenders. Plus, he seems to have decent skill and a ferocious shot. He'll thrive against teams that don't sit in so deeply i.e in Europe

West Brom ain't gonna sell him for £6 million less than they paid for him hes probably here so they can sell him for more if he's not in their plans ,id have him before gayle,robson-kanu or Rodriquez every time

Not having that for a second. Eddy is far better at holding the ball up and with his back to goal. Which is unsurprising as he’s a centre forward and Burke isn’t.

For now Eddy is the better player for me. Burke isn’t as technical and yea he’s being played out of position and done well

I find Burke to be quite technically intricate as well. I’ve seen him make some lovely touches in and around the 18yard line. He likes to make a nice first time pass and then spin in behind the defender a lot.

I remember one last night where he done a ‘Cruyff pass’ right into the path of Christie just at the edge of the box and the keeper made a good save.

Really like the look of him.

for us to get him we would have to pony up at least 20milliom, so aye no chance.

Anybody else reminded a bit of Gary Hooper by him?

Think it's his gait and the way he strikes the ball.

Obviously a different type of forward but just something about him.

What makes you think that? WBA paid £13m and he couldn't get a game for them. £9/10m would probably do it unless they are keen to have him back.

Think it’s premature to start thinking about him beyond his loan. Still a lot of football to be played yet before judging him.

    I’ll reiterate...

He’s WBA most expensive investment ever..

    There’s no chance.

whether he ends the season on blistering form, smashing in 20 goals or goes of injured for the rest of the season with a ruptured * - WBA are going to want back what they put in minimum.
