    17 is another year and a half away though for Dembele. Could easily have a growth spurt in that time.

    Would have no issue with him playing if he was 5ft 4 or 5ft 5, I think we all know he's never going to be Peter Crouch. The issue is how he copes physically.

    But at this point it would be seriously putting him in danger. Rodgers knows this.

    Hes tiny but his thighs are like tree trunks. Must be putting some work in.
    Size will never hold you back if you bulk up and ensure you have a low centre of gravity i.e. Aguero, Messi etc

    He's halfway through a 5 year development plan that was made with Rodgers so I don't think we will see him before he's 17 maybe even 18. Think there Will be a big focus on a programme to work on his physique similar to ajer. Only difference being he doesn't have a 6 foot 6 or so frame to fill out.

    A few people reckon he will be get a run in the first team this season, he isn't ready for that yet especially with some of the hammer throwers he would come up against they could put him out for a while the way they are allowed to tackle our players without fear of a red card
