If it’s true then why can’t he say it? It’s spot on. We are the best team in this country by a fair distance. If we lose it’s our fault.

Toxic time we live in. Being scrutinised for every movement made on social media. People checking your every move and going back to find old stuff to try and destroy your image.

Who gives a * if he liked a post about Defoe.

I agree with the sentiment, but at the same time why's the * "liking" it?

Its not something any Celtic player or staff member should say publically, it’s Hunnish.

It shows arrogance, a lack of class and leaves yourself open to scrutiny when things aren’t going well or if worse did come to worst. What is there to be gained by saying that to the media?

    It’s definitely not Hunnish.

We get no respect from the rest of the league. So * them. We show our class other ways.

Probably likes or knows Defoe. It’s good for the Scottish game.

    I don’t know, or care.

It is Hunnish. When can you ever remember a Celtic player saying to the media that we weren’t worried about a challenge and that we’d only have ourselves to blame? Proper * stupid thing to say and I’m not surprised Rodgers is clearly not happy with it.

You must of been * raging when Scott Brown said it was men against boys after beating the huns.

It could be considered lack of class? He’s been scrutinised for it since they beat us?

Where do you draw the line? Both statements were acceptable, because they are both true.

    * giving any team in this league respect, they haven’t earned it and they don’t give us any.

It’s not about giving them respect for me though, it’s just about not potentially making yourself look stupid. It also gives the opposition ammunition if anything when you say things like that.

There’s a reason none of our players talked about an invincible treble once until it was actually achieved. Just leaving yourself open.

What Brown said after the game was different. The game was over, he wasn’t really leaving himself open to anything.

How’s it giving anyone ammunition? It does the opposite?

If we lose the league it’s our fault. He’s not saying that the league is won already, he’s saying it’s in our hands.

The fact this is the first I’m hearing of it shows what a nothing comment it is.

Guessing he's liked it purely because of defoe, but it's stupid from him either way,

Or it might not be him at all! As I said, loads of players outsource this kind of thing.

Anyway, are we that insecure about ourselves that we are annoyed about this? His finger could have slipped, his mate could have a child's sense of humour, he could have liked the wrong thing...

Can see him leaving the club in either this window or the next. The lack of game time is bizarre given the struggle for form and fitness of Broony and Ntcham.

Best Celtic player v Kilmarnock when he played and also away to Salzburg when he came on.

Whatever the reasons are for him not getting minutes, if he isn't going to be picked then we should be moving him off the wage bill.
