That was a tough watch today, the team definitely needs an injection of players. Very inconsistent season so far, just when you think we are hitting form they drop a clanger and play woeful, they are just not ticking over. * turned us over no excuses, we were all over the place * in every department.

The only positive to come out of todays game is potentially a huge wake up call. This squad clearly needs some fresh faces, and some of the so called "big earners" (Sinclair, Ntcham, Boyata) either need to step up or * off (or in boyata's case, just * off) We need a new RB, a new CB, a new LW, a new ST and a new GK. Anything less than 4 of these positions and we're still majorly lacking. (and after todays game, a new LB wouldn't hurt either)

I keep hearing that the huns "were always going to beat us, at least once" and yeah, i get that, but to beat us with us playing diabolical and them probably deserving to leave winning 3/4 nil is disgraceful. They had halliday, mccrorie, tavernier and jack in their team, players from last year, and they wipped the ball about like it was nothing. Yeah we'll still win the title, and the next 4 games are hard to judge for this since it's all at home and against really poor sides (Airdrie, Hamilton, St mirren, St Johnstone), but improvements are vital. No more of this lackluster "because the huns are * we can get away with it" crap, that mentality is *.

As much as the player selection/positions seemed a bit strange, I don't think you can blame Rodgers too much for that result anyway. But a few of the players there however, it must be their worst individual performances in a Celtic shirt.

Never understood the Boyata hype and it's down to BR for pushing him so hard.

Most of our starting XI entered the witness protection program right before the kick off. Except Boyata, he was just disastrous. Even though he's not the reason we lost today - though he might be to blame for a few heart attacks.

The players playing * and need replaced is way over the top. Same players beat Sheep away and blew Kilmarnock away at home. Today came down to poor tactics and team selection. I felt for young Mikey , Sinclair and Forest. They had nothing to go on. With Brown and Nchamp playing we had nothing going forward in midfield. Christie was left on his own at times, they had 5 midfielders wanting to bust a gut for the cause, they wanted it more. The ball wasn't moving quick enough from defence to midfield, as soon as Brown or Nchamp got it they wanted to play the usual side or back pass. This in itself led to them putting pressure on he defence, hence all the mistakes just like Hibs did to us Gordon tried his usual kick outs to midfield but was passing to players that were being marked by 2 players at times. Yes players were not up to scratch but this defeat lands fully at the managers door. Our most consistent player and midfield threat was nullified by playing him at lb. Hayes would have been a better option but even IZZY playing even though he was poor against the Sheep would have been a better option to allow Cal Mac to play in midfield. The game was lost because of the midfield, the Manager selected that midfield.

Summed up for me by 30 secs in second half when we started to show (slight) signs of getting into it. Christie clears it and is clearly cleaned out by that *. Ball breaks to a DOB. He plays on. Ball goes into the box.Celtic clear it and there is a lesser foul on a Celtic player but the ball breaks to us. He blows and brings it back for a free kick to us. That is blatant.

It's about time one of them was done for it. Was at least 3 blatant ones that the ref missed. Wouldn't hold my breath though, as look at how many blatant kicks and elbows their goalkeeper has got away with this season also.

Timothy Weah, or someone like him, will be the only striker we get. When was the last time we had a good window, never mind a good January one?

You've been watching us long enough to know that today and the rest of this season isn't good enough.

Anyone who thinks that was OK is kidding themselves. I'm happy enough to support the team but that doesn't make them immune to criticism and those who defend that display today are having a laugh.

Just like at swinecastle and Easter road you had one team walking about half-arsed and another charging around giving everything. When you consider that it's hardly a shock we've lost all 3 of those games. The team at this moment, whatever it has been under BR in the past, is poor. It's gone from being a really good team that had the odd naff game to being a naff team that has the odd really good performance, and virtually all of those good performances are at home. These players(and manager) seem to have forgotten that you have have to EARN a win, even in Scotland, even against St Mirren and the like. Our urgency has gone and our fight is none existent as shown today. Sevco are a basic football team, work hard, clear your lines, pump crosses into the box etc. but that style is better suited to Scottish football than our own at present. I'm not saying copy them but we need a plan b and c. We have to start adapting to these 100mph battles or we can kiss the league goodbye.

Agree with this much. I think recruitment or lack of it is a far greater contributor to the mess today than Rodgers. He's done a lot for this club.
