Ex-Hibs, ex-Celtic, ex-teammate but comes out with this *. It never fails to amaze me how low our ex-players go to get a foot in the media door.

Hope he goes out for a drink with Commons, Nicholas and Wilson and Mackay Stevens takes them swimming.

It is with real regret that I can recall Caldwell representing us as captain. He is an absolute disgrace to the green and white hoops he pulled over his head. To make excuses for a vile and sectarian campaign that has lasted for so long and has shamed Scottish society into facing the fact that it is not a minority of bigots but a very large portion. The media and opinions of fans of perceived family and provincial clubs that Lennon brings it on himself is a major reflection on how prejudiced Scotland is because I believe a lot of these voices don’t even realise what they are saying is pure racist vitriol.

It is actually a comfort to see Lenny back managing another Scottish team as it now gives another set of fans the insight as to how hateful people can be because of a persons background. Lennon has a character that may rile opposition fans but so has a lot of other players for every club and didn’t receive an orchestrated violent campaign through their careers. Even right up to the judicial system when they deemed the first Tynecastle attacker to be a bit daft and gave him a slap on the wrists. That sent out the message it was fine to behave at football or wherever in that manner depending on whom you attack. It is ridiculous to say the least and Caldwell has shown himself bundled in with the rest of the bigots. And has lost any respectability he built up whilst wearing the hoops. As for Tynecastle, I’d shut it down until after the split. That will shame them and highlight the past behaviour of Hearts fans at their own stadia. There is a strong UVF element that has had strong links with National Front down the years. They are no better than their Glasgow cousins.

Yeah. There has been a fair few UVF members from Belfast and around the North of Ireland that skipped to Edinburgh mid 90s during a feud with LVF and renegade members of UVF. A few gunned down and a hardcore group went to Edinburgh to establish a market for drug running. Not sure of what area they ended up in but they gathered support among Hearts fans by attending games. A group of Hearts fans from Sandy Row and Ballymena regularly visit Tynecastle also. Always been Union Jacks with UVF logo as well.

Came across well in his Open Goal interview but his comments about Lennon couldn't have been more stupid.

Wee guy I work with is a massive Jags fan and has heard the same, apparently making all sorts of demands and was his decision to bring in McDonald from retirement.

After his comments about our manager (albeit at another club at the time) our club shouldn't even be acknowledging the weasel. Wishing him a happy birthday my *.
