Absolutely no doubt mate, not even the slightest argument. Just to be noted that it’s a completely different team that done that for Forrest and Lustig.

I can remember reading an article about high level athletes can be that in shape, it can take something very slight to tweak muscles etc. He likened it to overtuning a guitar...

Makes sense to me but I’m no expert by any means.

DANIEL Arzani faces an anxious wait before a scan confirms the seriousness of his knee injury.

Within hours of the Celtic player being stretchered from the field at Dens Park on Wednesday night, little more than 20 minutes into his debut, media outlets in the 19-year-old winger's homeland of Australia reported he had torn the ACL which would mean in all probability his season was over.

We understand these reports were premature. Arzani's knee had swollen so much it made it impossible for medical staff to determine the full extent of the damage. On Wednesday night, medical staff were unable to say whether it was only a minor problem and there remains a fear of cartilage which would at least nine months on the sidelines.

If it is bad news, it would be a huge blow Arzani who has been described as Australian football's best prospect of his generation. The 19-year-old moved to Manchester City from Melbourne City in the summer and was immediately sent on loan to Celtic for two seasons.

He had yet to make a first-team appearance until his side's game at Dundeewhen he was a second-half substitute. But Arzani didn't last the team minutes meaning Celtic were forced to finish the game with ten men.

It did not appear to be too serious at the time as he waved to the crowd while going off.

Hopefully he will go down to cities doctors for treatment and be back next year.

The club medicals staff are hopeless but todays injuries are the freak accidents of football.

    Typical.

Roberts, Musonda and Arzani - 3 supposed Premier League wonderkids who for various reasons never made as big an impression here as they could/should have.

Roberts was absolutely amazing here and Arzani got a horrendous injury after one game. Being "Premier League wonderkids" doesn't mean they deserve scorn.

    Roberts? Whit?

Musonda fair enough but Arzani has 20 mins on the park and is now injured for the rest of the season. Can't really point fingers at that.

You're forgetting Denayer & Ntcham as well who came up here from the Prem at 20 or under.

Reminied me of Roberts in his short cameo. Taking men on out left.

    Gutted for him.
