    Satriani, Vai, Gilmour, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hendrix, Clapton, Hetfield, Bellamy, Greenwood, Van Halen, Santana, BB King, Frusciante, Zappa, Prince, Chuck Berry, Angus Young, Tom Morello and many others have made massive contributions to the world of guitar playing and some of their styles are immediately recognisable when you hear them being played. All of them and others can legitimately lay claim to being one of the greatest, whether their claim lies in technical ability, songwriting or innovation.

    I’m also a massive fan of Rodrigo y Gabriella, Wes Borland, Mick Thompson, Daron Malakian and Jack White.
