1 signed,1 free agent and 2 loans. Only one of which is a * defender. We’ve taken a backwards step, from a position of real strength. Once again a move of self sabotage by Celtic, by running such tight finances it’s actually cost the club more money.

Get Congreton tae *, overhaul the scouting system, tell PL and DD to sort this * and actually * invest or you’ll see attendences start to fall.

We all though that signing Eddy was the start of great things to come, but in the end it was a * shambles.

But at least we have balacence the books with Armstrong and co going so our net spend is zero and then Moussa going for 20 million I mean that’s what it’s all about is it not? Making sure we are making * tons of money having between 50-60 million sitting there in the bank with Lawwell swimming in it like Scrooge McDuck.

New lights, sound system, grass on the pitch and a hotel on the way! * great stuff.... utter * *.

Got away with it for Martins last 2 seasons and strachans last season and lennon's. no other reason for strachan and lennon to have walked away aother than seeing the writing on the wall. Brendan will walk at the end of the season if we're lucky enough to keep him till then.

we've accepted this now for 15 years, why would it change now.

I've seen complaints about it for years but no one is actually ever gonna do anything about it and the signs we see in the crowd like the one at the hamilton game is laughed at and ridiculed. so the fan who actually do try get mocked for it and get no backing because lawell keeps us in the black.

I genuinely don't think I've ever felt so scunnered than after this transfer window

 

It was unbelievable and I don't know who to blame, clearly we have identified very few targets and most fell through and we had no alternatives, additional we scrooged on McGinn over a few hundred thousand which is bs.

No issue with getting rid, but at the start of the window we should speak to such players and set expectation, i.e. if a bid comes in late or we don't have cover then you wont be going, we need to avoid such negative PR in future.

 

You know what is worse, it's not who we didn't sign. It's who we didn't sell, loan or give. Tell me if I am forgetting anyone: De Vries, Ralston, Benyu, Kouassi, Christie, Allan, Hayes... All of which (bar maybe Christie who now is going to be the "third striker") add absolutely nothing to the team and would only come out of the bench to make up the numbers. None of them was shipped out, they will just do nothing for at least six months which is very bad for the development of the young ones. In fact there are a few other guys we could live without but are not exactly deadwood we could have in that list.

 

Thing is, they probably did, and then did the opposite because they knew replacements wouldnt come.

It's * shambolic. People talk about a dichotomy of strong squad x good finances but we lost the chance of getting 9 million for a ungrateful donkey that is now not needed because we took too long to loan Berkovic. Doesn't sound like good and responsible management to me.

 

So there you have it in 1 go .the ambition of Celtic football club,it's only about money in the bank to pay dividends to guys who haven't a clue what it's like to be a Celtic fan. If the like of Desmond isn't prepared to back our manager then why bother being there.i look at the way the Huns have backed theirs and ours should be ashamed of themselves. This team don't convince me they can go to away grounds in scotland and win yet we have to do it along with Europe .the only good thing is the Huns are still in Europe bcoz if they weren't we could realistically lose the league and that would be a cause to * storm the boardroom.

Why are you concentrating on the huns? Hearts AND Hibs are above them (as well as us).

Also, you're not convinced this team can win away from home in this league? The league we won last year, along with both cups, with pretty much the same squad? Dembele missed a lot, as did Armstrong and Roberts btw.
