I'm half taking the * as we're so open but different story with a narrow, compact defensive Killie side to us with big gaps to cover...especially at Celtic Park..

Mulumbu still makes himself available for international football. DR Congo are in the middle of African Nations qualifying. A bit of travel involved there if he's selected.
Probably not an issue if he signs as he's not going to be a consistant starter I'd imagine.
Still, knowing our luck he'll get injured on one of these treks.

He was impressive last season. Strolled it and gave us problems. Get it done.

He’s 31 so hopefully get a couple of good years out of him. Solid signing :50:

He’s very good at battling in the middle and winning the ball, even better that he has the ability and vision on the ball that will suit our play. Did he have a pre-season anywhere?

Sad state of affairs regardless if he's a half decent player or not.

Taken until Aug 30th to sign an unattached free agent who would struggle to get a games at any poor EPL sides. Progress.

Good start. Now 36 hours to add a striker, a right back and couple of centre backs please.

If you’re feeling generous a keeper and wide player too.

Aye it's definitely a "panic" signing - but if I'd have been given the option of signing Mulumbu or McGinn, I'd have taken Mulumbu all day long...

Ooft no chance man but he was a guy I wanted early in the summer. I just hate the way we go about business.

Mulumbu is vastly experienced mate, and was probably outwith Clarke the catalyst for Kilmarnock's form last year. Bullied us the game they won, and scored obviously.

I'm * delighted with this signing, yet still raging about it's circumstances.

    I agree mate.

He’s somebody I would trust to sit infront of the defence in Europe.

Which is a bit of a odd choice for Brendan come to think of it, a battler more than a footbaler.

The main thing is he’s gonna be able to let Brown rest or even take it a bit easier in games. Good signing in my opinion, can’t tnink why anyone wouldn’t be happy with this.

Agree Dev, and I was never fully on the McGinn deal, wanted him, but wasn't desperate.

I dont dismiss him at SPL level, but it's * grim man. Aug 30th to come up with another SPL target, millions spunked on Kouassi, who I assume moves further down the pecking order, I'm seeing zero progression here.

Mulumbu provides cover for Brown, I get that, I'll accept it at this honking stage of the window, but it's hardly inspiring. A player who was last seen before Kilmarnock playing little at Norwich in the Prem and Championship. I want more..

I mentioned this months ago. Apart form Brown and possibly KT, we have no right hard * in our team. We need more people with this mentality otherwise we’ll continue to be bullied in certain games.
