Timing is absolutely staggering. Day before game to secure Europa groups. 2 days before the deadline. 5 days before we play them.
I hope it all gets reinvested in the squad. However being a realist I would bet heavily against it.

No one would’ve had a problem with Boyata being sold.

I think given his injury record most people would’ve been happy to see Dembele go for a decent fee.

However, the timings and lack of replacements is absolutely shocking.

A replacement should’ve been signed for Boyata during the World Cup so that he could’ve been moved on, instead we’ve got an unsettled player.

Likewise a good offer has come in for Dembele but we’ve only got 2 days to identify and negotiate a replacement.

No doubt we’ll sell him and waste the money on Pukki’s and Scepovic’s. * disgrace.
