The club should have bought defenders before the CL games .. maybe if we were still in the CL it would be easier to keep players here but i got no problem selling players for massive profits as long as we reinvest and make the team stronger

the last part of that statement is where the club are letting the fans down

 

Using the summer to spend big money on lighting, new pitch and plans for a hotel seems just a cruel twist of the knife in a period of self destruction on the field, if nothing else we have learned the club under its current ownership has no real conviction in driving the club forward in Europe and worse still seems to have fallen back to the Deila model of thinking the domestic title is a given and doesnt need big money spending on the team to secure....that type of mindset is the usual one of the first steps of a club hitting a slippery slope or narrowly avoiding one...

its almost impossible to believe how low the fans expectations and excitement has dropped in a few months.....serious questions need asking why strengthening the team has been approached in such a half hearted and inept way whilst at the same time the PR and noises off the pitch have been one of a club taking sucess and its fanbases blind loyalty for granted.

its not washing and the hard facts dont lie that there is dicontent with recent events, a few momths ago over 50k had bought season tickets wheras today I heard as of 4 o clock that only around 25k tickets have been sold for tomorrow nights match with the majority of season ticket holders not taking their seat.....that statistic would have been unthinkable even a month ago

I am just clicking like on all the comments venting frustration at the absolute * omnishambles Lawell and the rest of the board have somehow contrived to make this Summer.
