His primary concern is providing profits and therefore dividends every year for the shareholders and ensuring he achieves his bonus.

It also suits him down to the ground to have the Huns challenging us for the title and he won’t stop until they’ve won it again.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again if we scraped by the Huns on penalties in 2016 we’d still have a sub par manager and Carlton Cole up front.

It must have killed this * inside to have to unveil Rodgers. I hope his next * is a cactus.

    * Ian Bankier too. Pair of * who are quick to criticise the support and liase with the police to criminalise our fans.

It pains me that the entire short medium and long term philosophy of the club rests with them. They’ll continue to suppress the dreams of our entire support. Rat *.

    * *. Couldn't be more spot on. Particularly that in bold.

I've never heard it confirmed before but I'm assuming he also has a large chunk of shares as well?

Spot on. Challenged by the post-Seville summer when we loaned in Michael Gray and paid 400k for Stephen Pearson.

A very obvious connection here. Refusing to build on a position of strength.

It was 7 million as with the agreement we had when we loaned him.

Armstrong’s sale has paid for that deal so we have spent nothing this window.

Haven’t replaced Armstrong or Roberts either And we haven’t strengthened at the back. This has all cost us a champions league spot so aye it’s been * horrendous window.

That's what's bewildering with Lawwell - he knows if we don't make it to the CL all the negativity & criticism falls his way yet he still doesn't back the manager. Thought he was supposed to be intelligent?

The lack of ambition this window after record ST sales has been nothing short of a disgrace. Scunnered.

We have signed one player. Eddy that’s it.

The others were signed in January.

It’s been our worse for a long time because we have completely * it from a position of strength yet again.

For a team that’s got around 40 million in the bank available and zero and I mean zero net spend it’s horrendous.

We have lost Armstrong and Paddy our manager wanted to replace them first. We haven’t done that.

So if it’s not the worst it’s up there with the worse.

I see his point with that, I do. But what’s the alternative, never give him money to spend ?

I put on another thread how PL and the board have swallowed the money-ball concept.

It's brought some success (VVD, Armstring and probably Dembele/Ntcham)
But the expenditure on others such as Kouassi, Commper, Allen, Janko and Scepovic for example has probably made the board/manager re-examine wether this transfer strategy is actually working.

    * knows where we go from here??

The crux of the matter in point ,roberts and armstrong were worth 30 goals between them a season ,this puts more pressure on an already weak defense and we go out of the qualifiers with the manager stating "we are weaker ,we have not covered the loss of both armstrong and roberts firstly "

"So Peter why have we not signed a centre back?"
"I thought the lights were a better option"

    "What about a left back?"
"The new pitch was a better option"
