Ajer was green, we had no strikers and Ntcham was poor.

That’s my recollection from last season.

    I looked at UEFA's website.

    First leg:

Gordon, Tierney, Simunovic, Ajer, Lustig, Brown, Ntcham, Armstrong, Rogic, Sinclair and Forrest. Hayes for Ntcham and Benyu for Forrest (what the * he was thinking?) came from the bench. No designated striker for the entire match, an horrible game and Rosenborg missed a bunch of sitters.

    In the second leg:

Gordon, Tierney, Sviatchenko (got injured early in the match and was substituted by Bitton), Ajer, Lustig, Brown, McGregor, Armstrong (out for Rogic), Hayes (out for Griffiths), Sinclair and Forrest.

Griffiths was not in 100% condition but with the score still 0-0 BR took the risk of putting him in the pitch. Forrest scored 10 minutes after.

Bitton, Jozo and Lustig in defence, Hayes on the wing and Forrest up front. Aye but we’re weaker this season...

Will the sacking of the manager have them in disarray or will it strengthen them as a team think we will find out on Wed. If we can get an early goal we will see how they react to the situation just hope their finishing is as poor as it was last time

The team has apparently started to rebel as they want their old manager back. I think you could see the players not playing for the new manager.

Could drop Sinclair, move McGregor to the left and have Rogic in the middle, but McGregor's been on fire through the middle.

Who said we were? We've been in the Champions League Group Stages 6 times since any Norweigian side were last there, Rosenborg must be featherweight then?

Normally id sort of agree but I think you'll be very shocked at how * good we are now. I fully expect to win 3 or 4 in the first leg. We have a new £10m striker, along with a £30m rated striker and an absolutely leathal midfield feeding them. We are the strongest we have been in years in the qualifiers.

Against a team that have let in 11 goals in 16 matches this season? That would be nice, but I doubt that. 3 out of the 4 in their back line are regulars in the Norwegian national team. We'll outscore them though, their attackers are nothing special.

What's your point? Rosenberg play against nothing special. Easily 3 or 4. 6 years since a Norwegian team made the champions league lets you know there level.

You sound like one them English lads comparing the SPFL with League 1/League 2.

I'm a Celtic supporter in Norway, mate. I watch Eliteserien every weekend, it's on par with the SPFL no doubt. People said we would pump them last season and we barely got by them with one goal. We'll beat them alright, but we're not up against a * hun defence here who let in goals for fun. This lot runs a much tighter ship than we're used to in the SPFL.

No I'm genuinely that confident in our team. They will score as our defence is a bit pish but we will out gun them and even surprise you. Obviously if a few more main starters pull a hammy etc id be a bit worried. Right now, at home and absolutely flying just like season 1 of Rodgers reign we are gonna do damage.
