    He’ll be away after 10.

No danger he’s leaving before then.

I would advise him to stay for the next treble and if he wants to go do it after that. A 3x3 will never come again and it's even bigger than the 10 in my opinion. He's got plenty of time to go south and set the heather alight and his stock will have risen by then.

If it was my son I would be saying look mate I know you can go and get 5 times what you are on but seriously you are 21 and you could get injured at any time in your career. We are a Celtic family and you could become the captain of Celtic in a few year time and then at 25 you could go to epl or la liga and have 8-10 years there it’s upto you but remember once you go you never go back what you have known and worked for since you where 8 is gone, you are just a player at Everton you will not be adored and idolised as you are at Celtic!

I think you're right. He will be given the "it would be good for you and the club" chat.

Depends if the bid comes in, 10 is 3 years away with every year possibly being £4.5million down the drain to him. Even if we were to double his wages he'd probably still lose £10million by staying those 3 years.

He’s happy, just signed a new deal.. as you say he has so much time on his hands..

However, if the right club came calling with the right fee and deal for him, difficult decisions lie ahead..

Am sorry I know it’s a short career but he is reportedly on £18k a week basic and bonuses at Celtic he doesn’t seem money daft and quite savvy and for me £25m would be the starting point anything less than £35m for me is just selling it short boy is a 3 in a row young player of the year, CL and EL player and a full Scottish international

I don't think that it is a difficult decision for him........ like you say he's happy our Mr Celtic. He's already attracted interest from the EPL and didn't seem all that interested.

    He’ll always be adored..

If it’s Everton, wouldn’t touch them.. but if other clubs came in, as a parent I’d be having a conversation with him on what’s best for his career.. and that may very well be staying put.. but it’s by no means a decision that should be taken purely by the heart..

    A tough one..

Let’s get one thing straight. If Tierney goes it’s because he wants to go.

If he doesn’t want to go all he needs to say is thanks for the offers but I’m not interested.

No one is going to force him to do anything.

He shouldn't be in any rush to head down there, as a player he has worked hard on athleticism, has high stamina, composed and is used to playing at a high intensity, can put a good ball in etc. Technically he is still maturing but that comes with age and experience. Two more good seasons up here and in Europe and I think he will be able to have a choice of clubs in England and elsewhere.

25 million is a big number though and hard for the board to turn down, really hope he stays but.

Theres a difference between being money daft and stupid though.

The additional money you'd get from moving would probably be enough for him to buy his whole family houses and cars within 2 years. Then after than he could start buying a big fancy masion every season, 1 in London, 1 in Spain, 1 in LA, 1 in New York. Him and his family living in luxury the rest of their days.

Yeah when all's said and done it's about money. It's a business and there's no sentiment in business.

As I said to Blochairnbhoy, it’s straight forward for us the fans.. but if one of the top 6 in the EPL came calling with a concrete offer then it’s by no means a straight forward decision..

But like you say, would be raging if he was sold against his will, should be his decision..
