Karamoko Dembele!!

Whit. He’s 15. You’re talking as if we shouldn’t even be waiting a year and it’s only his size holding him back.

 

His family are really level headed from everything I've read on here and for that reason I don't think he'll just jump ship. I hope we get a few years from him, then if he does well and makes the choice to leave fair enough. The only thing he really needs to look at is the top premier league clubs youth sides and how many will actually get a chance to make it.

He seems like he has everything to go right to the top and hope he does it. Also hoping he chooses to play for Scotland, think we could have an exciting team in a few years.

He is tiny. Hope that doesnt hold him back. I know people will hit out with the old Messi is tiny and is the best in world but the amount of work a small player has to put in to composate for the lack of height is huge. Hence the reason we have a 18 year old Jack Aitchinson struggling to break into the first team even though he bosses it at youth level.

 

The reason why Jack Aitchinson struggles to break into the first team is because there are three better strikers ahead of him haha. At 15 he has plenty of time to develop and grow i think * be right.

 

Can't see him growing much more tbh. Can only think of one person I know who grew significantly after about 15 or 16.

 

He won't grow much taller as his siblings are also short. So he's never going to be a target man for a long ball team but I doubt he wants to be. Probably end up being a flair winger.

Smaller players have a lower centre of gravity, hence better control & can shift their weight from one foot to another a lot quicker than a big lumping defender. JJ turned the best in Europe inside out.

 

I grew 6 inches from 5’6 to 6 foot between the ages of 14 and 17, so he could do.

 

Really? Me and most of my mates all stopped growing at 6" to 6"4 at about 14 or 15 so I just assumed that was the norm

 

Yeah, same as most my mates. I was the smallest in my class at 14 and then just grew haha.

 

Is Aitchison even that small? As has been said, the reason he has not broken into the first team is because Dembélé, Édouard and Griffiths are ahead of him in the pecking order.

 

I did the most of my growing between 16 and 17. Karamoko will be fine, he's just turned 15. I don't think he'll ever be the size and build of say moussa but going by his current play style he doesn't need to be.

 

Aitchenson is 5 foot 10. Reason he's not getting in the team is because he isn't as good as the 3 strikers ahead of them. He's only just turned 18 so there's plenty time for him to improve.

 

The male body doesn't stop growing until a man is 21/22.

 

Depends. I remember getting a bone density scan at 14 y/o and 177cm, they told me everything looked good but I'd probably completed my growing. Right enough, 10 years later and I never went beyond 179cm.

 

No chance is he that height.
