Am serious wondering will this team qualify for champion league next season by performance off this season and showing in European games.

Its going to be more difficult this season than it has ever been to qualify due to playing 4 qualifying rounds.
We also have to deal with players going to the world cup and players basically playing back to back seasons due to having a limited break.
We have only been beaten over 2 legs in Europe by Bayern and PSG effectively although we did take a bit of a doing in Paris.
Time will tell but hopefully with Ajer, Hendry and Compper we will be better defensively, but it will be a massive achievement to even get there.

Assuming we win our next 3 games before the split, we should be confirmed champions by the first game after it if not before pending other results.

Lack of rest is the main issue, but two extra competitive matches might not be bad thing is preparation for the 3rd Qualifying & Play Off rounds..

I actually dont think that our squad lose as much fitness due to hardly getting a break, I'm sure that the play-offs will consist of a better standard of opposition than we usually play so the extra games may help us prepare more.

If us and them win up to split should be 13 points in it way 15 to play for first game will make us champs

He could easily given time grow into our number 1.

Watching the highlights back, the amount of opportunities we had in front of goal where the man in possession could've layed off a team mate for a tap in was unreal. Players getting selfish with the goals? Forrest, Rogic, Dembele and Sinclair all taking the shot when a pass was on...

Agree with posts above in terms of motivation. We effectively won the league yesterday; no doubt now as the currant buns are now entering their annual season of discontent

So I’m not too sad about a point and not losing the game - I think but a point on also the formation yesterday - Playing Callum G (an attacking mid) as a wing back? And Forrest - arguably our most attacking player of the season as the other WB? And once again DEADdryk Boyata as the mainstay of the centre half position?? I wonder what Brendan is doing sometimes.. it’s like he _wants_ us to lose or draw

I'm sure Brendan was only hoping not to get beat yesterday tbf, getting a point was a bonus.

Need more Flair in the team, its easy to say Eduoard should have played because of last week ..but you could see early on it was not working the game was needing Roberts,Sinclair possibly Musonda from the start.

Think Eddie is more suited to the super-sub role.
