This is no doubt true but then why not just put out the under 18s tonight, get pumped 10 0 and keep everyone fresh for the cup final?

Getting beat off teams like PSG isnt a surprise but we should at least be able to keep it respectable til half time.

As good as they are, our defending has been criminal. For a guy like Mbappe to be in 10 yards of space in our box at a set piece, unacceptable.

Brendan and the players have to learn from this if we're to do anything in the Europa.

You make it sound like he had better options.

    No doubt..

He's been the difference without a shadow . I genuinely think we would've gone in maybe level if he was off the park. 2 sublime finishes and the assist for Cavani..

They are class but we had them rocked early on and they haven't really been mind blowing like Celtic Park outwith him in my opinion, and maybe Verratti also actually..

Depressing as there was lot's to be positive about in that first 20, even though they'd equalised..

Even then....who's to say we would concede less?
This team has pumped much better than us. Perspective and all that

3 of us closing their keeper down at a back pass and yet no-one within 10 yards of Neymar at any given time. Take it in turns to kick the * * in. Two bookings for holdin on to the * as if we were * punch drunk. Begbie will soon get him subbed off if we actually give him some. Get Lustig back on, would take half a Lustig over Bitton any day

That's as decent a 1st half performance as these * will of come up against all season and yet we are still 4-1 down? Same old story with these teams, as good as they are they do carry luck. Everything these teams hit against us seems to go in somehow no matter how scuffed it is!

Where have we thrown the towel in?

Last I remember we are sitting 3rd in this group stage.

And regardless of goals scored against us, the only stat that matters is we've been beaten (or at least on course to be) in 4 games by one of the greatest teams in world football, and this french mob with the most expensive forward line in the history of football.[/QUOTE

We are not competing though, finishing 3rd is a great result if it happens but we are lucky to be in it.

No, second was out of reach this season anyway. We could have secured the Europa League spot before the Anderlecht game though. Now we have to hope Bayern win in Belgium and we get at least a draw at home vs Anderlecht.

Dembele's played well and we've looked decent going forward much more of a threat than at Parkhead

    ONE NEIL LENNON
Thought we played well until the second PSG goal went in and then our arses collapsed.

First goal was preventable also if Brown hadn't played a * pass.

Just have to hope they show mercy on us.

playing out of defence is what the manager wants, i think tonight we see the really REALLY big difference in the quality at both teams disposal, but no way would martin oneil or neil lennon have our players play out of defence in a game against a superteam

you either think the manager is brave and has a plan or he is naive and stupid

i choose that he is looking forward and wants to see who of these players can do it

safe to say a few of them are not good enough, ntcham looks like he won a ticket to play with the team tonight brown has never been a good passer, rogic hasnt been tested against good teams mcreggor is to shy forrest thinks hes not worthy and gordon aint a celtic goalie

Unbelievable the amount of space we've gave them. We just don't have anyone or even a couple of players combined who can do a job on Neymar.
