Let's face it, if Alaska FC offered 500k a week then Aguero would live in an igloo.

Money is the main motivator in football. That's why * are going to China. Shaqiri lives in Stoke etc.

If Celtic had a 100m a year transfer budget you'd see plenty of Brazilians buying North Face jackets.

Still don't think it would be enough for us to compete for the CL trophy though.

Celtic could have played better, PSG could have played worse, but the result still would have been the same.

Their tactics were spot on. Identified the danger men and nipped them right at the bud.

I was hoping we could scrape a draw, but they are just better in every department. Disheartening, but sad reality.

Well obviously, unless we're bought over by Saudi Arabia or something then we'll never compete for the trophy ever again.

I'm a bit like that tbh, when Ronny was at the helm is was posting here non stop because I wasn't happy with what was happening at the club, when things are going well i don't really have much to say, I just enjoy the football.

I'm gutted we lost tonight but what can we do against the kind of money the likes of PSG have?

Where do we go from here? Massive wake up call with regards to champions league. It was always going to be tough but on the night we were so far behind PSG it was embarrassing. Our worst home deafeat in history? I suppose that's what you get if you spend 5 million in the transfer window. It's a tough defeat but I just can't see us moving forward I think we've hit our heights with regards to Europe. The sad reality is that we just don't have the budget to even compete in the group stages anymore. I may get slack for this but europa league is our level and it may stay that way as long as Scottish football is in the state that it's in.

I thought we'd lose TBH; but I never expected that in a million years. I have never felt so stunned and speechless about a football game. Don't know what to say.

Forgive me, but right now I feel the game's a bogey and I am thinking I don't want to watch any more CL games ever. What's the point if the best team we've had in many, many years (and I doubt we can realistically hope to assemble one much better than this TBH) can get thoroughly dismantled like that at home?

I can't find the words to express this. Even the 0-3 to Juve (painful though that was) was a lot less one-sided than the scoreline suggests.

Maybe I'll change my mind when I have more perspective.

No one responded in the private part of the forum, so may as well post it here:

Anyone sticking up for fans running on the pitch, for whatever reason, need to realise that it's not doing our club any good. It will only cause us shame and probably a fine.

Our reputation as great fans means something to me. I always feel as soon as someone knows what team I support, I've got a responsibility. That, to me, makes us different to everyone else.

Also, ask the people condoning tonight's actions, what was their reaction to the daft rangers fan trying to attack Broony was? I'm guessing it's different to what they're saying now but if you ask them why, they'll never have an answer that's understandable
