TBH You can(well, should) understand both cases of the argument. Reeco's first post was selling something which people obvioulsy found a bit suspect and Tim voiced his disguist at this action. Reeco has backed up his post with actions and posted pictures of the big man to show the authenticity to his claim.

Kenny, to be honest I was really annoyed at Tim because he didn't know me and to call me a con man was a red rag to a bull, I may have gone about things in the wrong way but my intention was honourable and from the heart, nobody has the right to call a new poster a con man unless he can proove it, that's slander Mate. Reeco I'm pretty new to this forum myself but I think you are out of order with this Dim Tim stuff.

That quote above is the one Tim Park left in your initial thread. Doesn't look to me like he called you a conman, just said that you hadn't proved that you were genuine. Quite right to do so considering you were a brand new member immediately trying to sell stuff.
Stop throwing your toys out the pram Reeco.

Good luck with the fundraising and I mean that - a more friendly attitude would probably see you sell more flags though mate.

 

To be fair to Tim it's not unusual to get total con-artists on forums - especially from newly regsitered members so where money is concerned a healthy dose of cynicism is needed. Gladly you have provided the evidence for a really worthy cause and good on ya. But please enough of the smarmy insults as its really doing no good.

 

Hi All, I will listen to Sabre, as I now his entry was the voice of reason.

Fella's I am sure we have all got involved in a fist fight from time to time and if one guy is swinging away do you leave him carry on or do you knock him out.
