    I'm not having it..

    Just really settling in to the Celtic centre back role consistently and looking like he's enjoying it now. European football and a change of nationality..

    He doesn't play on these plastic pitches which is well documented. If he was going to Burnley we/Brendan wouldn't be fazed about playing him to get us in to Europe. * that..

    But if it was true and he genuinely refused to play in a UCL qualifier to force through a move to Burnley I'd keep him and let him rot in the reserves.

    Half discussed this in the Astana match thread but to me Burnley is an option. Why wouldn't it be.

    They can afford to buy him. They can afford to pay him. They're currently in the epl. Personally I don't think they'll go down. He might see it as a move for 18 months to better things either there or in another top league.
    I can believe from the Torino stuff he does see a move in his near future.

    Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't choose Burnley over a team currently in the champions league. Plus I don't want to lose him as I think he's been our best player followed closely by Ntcham.
    Lose him we need another international class centre half quickly. I hope there really is nothing in this.
