It all started turning around under Ronnie. He was dropped for a long spell and came on with about 25 mins to go away to Motherwell. He started his progress from there and the faith Brendan puts in Calum must make him feel like a giant. Plays the Celtic way.

His goal against sevco in the semi final last season was probably my goal of the season. Thought it was brilliantly taken.

What, because he's a midfielder who happens to be white? Ffs.

Deserves a start, after his performance on Saturday. Ahead of Ntcham, perhaps?

Thought he was good tonight, especially second half.

He has a wonderful first touch but drifts in and out of games far too much still. Himself and Armstrong seemed to take turns hiding from the ball tonight.

Don't know if I agree with that mate. Thought he was brilliant and was constantly looking for the ball. Particularly in the first half he was picking up great positions in the pocket and no one was giving him the ball.

A good player but a great team player.

He did it in the first-half and I praised him for it at half-time, for the first twenty minutes of the second half he was missing. He does it a lot too. I really like him as a player, but he can't be drifting out of games like that.

Great tonight in fairness to him. More chances certainly deserved.

I would agree, he was getting into good positions first half but we didn't have anyone capable of picking him out with a pass. A lot of the credit for that goes to Rosenbourg for shutting down the space and denying us the opportunity to play the telling pass because it was safer to go side to side and out wide rather than risk losing the ball and being hit on the counter.

One thing he doesn't do is hide from taking the ball. He's takes the ball in some horrible areas of the park yet constantly seems to get it out his feet and open the game up. Absolutely fabulous player imo.

If he was Spanish, folk would be creaming their pants over him. Embarassing to think Strachan doesn't think someone of his quality merits a place in the Scotland squad.

He had different spells of performance sometimes he was there with brilliant movement good touches and nice passes, than there were times he had bad movement and not showing for the ball/carrying it in panic mode. 6,5/10

He was poor imo for the first 60 - 70 mins, but came good towards the end and kept us calm in possession with a few nice turns and picking out some nice passes and keeping it simple.

He's a good squad player to have in Europe and a fantastic squad player domestically to have and will get his fair share of games this season.

What I will say though is that there is a night and day difference sadly for McGregor in comparison to Rogic in the No.10 position, Rogic really did show his class once again when he came on.

Second half I thought he was excellent personally.

Once again showed his best position is far and away as a central midfielder. He's excellent with the game infront of him, not so much otherwise.

I thought the whole team were excellent tonight, McGregor always works hard, you look at Scotty tonight, in an attacking sense i thought he wasn't great tbh, but you look at the power of work he did, especially defensively, it was terrific, that's the mark of a great player imo, working for the team.

Absolutely spot on mate, can turn away on a six pence... he is so technically gifted. Embarassing Strachan hasn't picked him yet. Versatile, has full range of passes, vision, skill, carries the ball with pace, not afraid to mix it, composure and no hips! In my opinion could play in serious company and slot into a host of really good teams. Glad he is ours and even better that he's homegrown.
