    I don't even know if I would classify Broony as a club legend. I probably will one day, but not at the moment

    OP I love your enthusiasm for oor Tam BUT he is no legend YET.
    You must be about 16/17 to ask this question as people in that generation really do bang that word about too much.
    See when Broony causes a fair argument about his status then you will know big Rogic is nowhere near yet. So good to have him and I would put him in as maybe one of the top 10 (maybe)mids playing in the UK at the moment.

    Well yeah, he's been here a long time and won a lot of things, but ability wise I just don't see him being as good as the other players I would classify as being Celtic "legends". I see how many would see him as being a club legend though, don't get me wrong, just my two cents. I still love Broony.

    We've not had enough club captains for him to be in the top 1% though yet.:nonono:

    I little drunk on my love for Tommy, I must admit :)

    Though he did single handedly save the ten and win the treble

    Fair enough, thanks for sharing your opinion. Was curious to know where he stands with the true support.

    Cult-hero Tom Rogic, that sounds pretty cool to me.

    Cheers mate, it just came about as I play a little game in my bedroom every morning before work with my clean socks all balled up. I use the bedroom door frame as a goal and I often emulate a few screamers from the lads.

    I had to stop myself the other morning after belting a hot stunner from 9 yards, I cried out in the heat of passion, "A corking right foot goal (I am left footed, like Tam but I find I strike them just as sweetly on my right too) from Celtic legend Tom Rogic!"

    The words just came out, and I thought I'd better run this by you guys as I don't mean to disrespect the support.

    91 appearances for Celtic, not even close to a legend status.

    * sake? Really?

    Legends are few and far between. Some people just use that far too liberally. Rogic is a very good player, no question, but in 50years time, based solely on what he has done so far in his Hoops career, can anyone honestly say he deserves to be mentioned in the same breathe as the likes of Quinn, Gallacher, McGrory, Tully, the Lions, McStay, Henrik etc?

    That is not to say that he may one day be there with them, but that is a long, long way down the line from where we are right now.
