certainly must have, in all the time he was on ,in your opinion, didnd't see it myself, all i seen was sno doing the same as donati does, look for the easy pass sideways, or back, but thats wot makes this site gr8, everybody has an opinion, so lets see wot midfiled does next saturday.... and who starts....:celt_2::celt_2::celt_2: keep the faith....

Can someone explain to me how Robson did little? He never gave the ball away once he ran and ran and his crossing is pin point. Based on todays game McGeady did little not Robson.

sorry to have to disagree with u mukker, but mcgeady set up the goals apart from mcdonalds, wot else u want mcgeady 2 do, granted he wasnt up to the usual mcgeady we expect, but he is still only 21, he is gonnahave some bad games, but, if this a bad game he played ill gladly take it.:celt_2::celt_2::celt_2: 3 in a row.. we have to believe...

skippy was shatterd and our midfield was light-weight up front we were too static, sammy changed that instantly when he came on and imo sno changed the midfield for the short time he was on.
boring game more than anything else, till the subs came on then it got better.

    1. I agree with Iontach that Robson was poor and nowhere near either Donati or Hartleys better performances. He in no way eaned a place in the OF game unless it is tactical and in place of Naka.

    2. I do agree that Iontach is developing some sort of paranoia about pro-Scots biase.

Nobody gets near an on-form Donati but unfortunatley Donati only seems to play really well at Celtic Park.

Another lifeless performance. Still no spark. I'm starting to get the feeling that Der Hun simply want it more than us.

If you chuck in Browns name I think he may have a point!

From what I saw of Robson and Brown together today I see them as too similar to work well together. Neither was the anchor the midfield needed because both kept moving up looking for chances. This left the midfield sparse for cover sometimes.

I think the question is not "Hartley or Donati or Robson?" next to an assured Brown but rather " Robson or Brown?" for the attacking CM and then "Hartley or Donati?" for the other spot.

Sno does well off the bench with his physicality so I'd keep using him off the bench.

The striking situation is a bit trickier. Jan has more presence and fight than big Sam. Skippy has more fight and may be a tad quicker than big Sam. Sam has loads of more skill than both and can run rings around at least Jan and prob clear Skippy in a single jump. Which to use, which to use?
My limited opinion is that the best way for GS to go about this is start whatever pairing of them he thinks will work best, and be ready to switch fairly early if it ain't working. No one striker is gonna beat the Huns.

But who knows if i'm right, i'm just a guy on the internet

If Robson didn't give the ball away which most of use are saying then he was better than Donati, who can spray a 20yard pass perfectley then misplace a 3yard pass.
