    I like it ... did you know that the saltire or ( st Andrews cross ) is only used by 2 countries worldwide
    Scotland and jamaica. And although tenerife come under the Spanish flag, the islands flag is the same as
    Scotlands in the same colour

    I don't give a * about the saltire,I do think it looks a bit out of place when we're at home though.I prefer the green version.

    My favourite flags are those of Lebanon and Jamaica.

    It depends the context that someone may view it I suppose. To some it could represent an oppressive, imperialist force (as a part of Britain). Ironically to some it can represent freedom...

    For me it's just a flag though!

    On the lamp posts in Belfast coming up to the 12th they will fly the Union, Ulster flag and the Saltaire. Always amuses me that the Scottish flag is as Nationalist as it gets. But they don't get that.:43:
