Last one for me was Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth on the vita.

About to start a new Fable II save on the 360. Remember me playing I and III, but somehow I forgot everything about the second one. Probably remember as soon I start the new save.

Everybody's Tennis on the Vita and tried the first episode of Life is Strange on the PS4, but couldn't get into it just yet. Will give it another shot tomorrow as the season pass is pretty cheap for a few days.

Not really sure you could call it a game, but I liked it. Really slow pace but certainly interesting.

It's alright, but it depends on how much you like walking simulators.

I liked the setting, most of the side stories are interesting and the voice acting is top notch - but there were two things I really didn't like:

    • Your character walks with the speed of an arthritic tortoise, and the 'running' speed isn't that much of an improvement. It doesn't help that the map is pretty big, so things can feel like a slog at times. I understand why they did it, and I wasn't wanting to sprint round the map COD style anyway, but it needed to be a bit quicker.

    • The main story story ends up being a bit of damp squib.

If you were going to play one of these games, I'd say Firewatch would be a better choice in all honesty.

Only completed the first "act" of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Pretty much agree with you. I love the setting of the quaint English village and the voice actors really bring the characters alive, but the speed you move at is infuriating. Kept having to backtrack to hear more dialogue between characters and it was a bit of a chore.

I really enjoyed Gone Home, in terms of other walking simulators. Over and done with in about 1-2 hours and the story was quite emotional. Firewatch was very enjoyable but the ending was a total let down.

A chore really is the best way to describe the gameplay in Rapture. It was a bit of a * decision by the developers in all honesty. I get that they wanted people to take it slow and to try and get you immersed in the world they created, but it just felt like they weren't respecting people's time. I'm sure some people would disagree, but I definitely would have preferred a game that lasts 2-4 hours with a normal walking speed, instead of the 4-6 hour game with the crawl that we got. In saying that, it was a nice change of pace after replaying the Resistance trilogy.

I haven't actually got around to Gone Home yet, but it's next on my list. I have Journey downloaded as well, and I want to try The Vanishing of Ethan Carter at some point in the future.

I sort of agree with you about Firewatch. When I finished the game initially, I was a little bit let down by the ending, but it's grown on me. It's definitely not perfect, but the ending being a let down sort of felt right in the context of the story. I'd say it's my GotY at this point, although I still haven't played a lot of the bigger releases this year.
