Potential free. Never seen the boy play.

We should be all over the LOI, frustrating the players that have slipped through the net recently that probably would of jumped at the chance to join us.

McClean looked great against us for the LOI XI, should of been snapped up that week. Would of more than paid back the £350k he cost Sunderland.

He only played 15 minutes against us. If any player stood out for LOI XI in that game it was their number 7, Kearns.

I agree with the overall point tho :50:

It is extremely frustrating the amount of players we have missed out on from the LOI isn't it. Might change under Brendan.

McClean will never play for Celtic. The board would be scared to sign him because of his political views.

Seamus Coleman, McClean, Shane Long, Wes Hoolahan all came out of the LOI, as did Daryl Murphy, who admittedly we did sign. The aforementioned would all be good signings for us, especially Coleman.

Didn't know that's all he got, remember him looking dangerous, might of possibly of been in one of LOI XI's other games.

He was the one player that stuck in my mind and was a bit disappointed we never went in for him.

    Definitely would on a free.
but would like to see him be well tested and see if he rises to it with another club don't think he get the opportunity here with what we already have tho.

Worth a go for the price he'd cost.

He was certainly the most hyped player of that squad. Quite rightly it's turned out.

Scored a decent goal against Zenit for Dundalk too in the Europa.

If its a free and seems that quite a few clubs sniffing around too - would take the chance on a free.

Sounds daft and unrelated too - I sign him in football manager every new Celtic save i make.

Seems like a why not signing. May as well give him a go. Neither side has much to lose.

I like the look of him, would be a good back-up to sinclair to start with

    He's a left winger not a striker.

I'm a big fan of Horgan and would love to have him here as backup/competition to Sinclair.

His style is very similar to McClean who's been mentioned here, hardworking powerful runner who's not afraid to track back.

I get the feeling he will want to move somewhere where he will get a chance in the first team, which will rule us out as Sinclair is undroppable atm.
