Think we've done enough to see us through. I'd go with a cautious approach as they look half decent at home.

    Gordon
    Tierney
    Toure
    Sviatchenko
    Lustig
    Forrest
    Brown
    Bitton
    Sinclair
    Griffiths
    Dembele

We have done the hard work. Nothing stupid and we should be fine. I'd look to sit in and play on the counter attack.

    Gordon

    Lustig Toure Sviatchenko Tierney

    Bitton
    Brown McGregor

Don't know if anyone noticed on Wednesday (or against Hearts) but as quick and skillful as he is going forward, Sinclair is useless at tracking back and getting stuck in. Like playing with a man down which we can't afford to risk on Tuesday. Paddy and Forrest give more in that department.

We have a very strong bench as well. Bring Sinclair on to stretch them second half. Dembele and Rogic too.

Champions League history should offer Celtic fans some comfort - since 1992, only once has a team overcome a three-goal deficit from the first leg. Deportivo La Coruna overturned a 4-1 scoreline to knock out AC Milan in 2004, winning the second leg 4-0

Just play the same. Easily score another few.

It will be a different game entirely over there you'd expect so I don't think we will adopt the same approach.

They will have to attack from the off so I'd look to use our pace on the counter, simple as that. Bring Sviatchenko and Biton back in for more defensive cover and some cool heads.

I can see us scoring at least once. The tie is not done yet, we know all about having to come back from poor away performances. Their fans will be right behind them. Absolutely imperative we don't concede early.

    Gordon

    Lustig Toure Sviatchenko Tierney

    Brown Biton

    McGregor

    Forrest Griffiths Sinclair

Roberts, Dembele and Rogic off the bench.

The problem with that is we don't do it well.

Rodgers tinkered it at HT to do exactly that and we had that wobble. Personally I think that approach is inviting trouble onto ourselves, the best form of defence is attack, play our own game and we'll score at least 1 over there...which IMO should kill the tie.

Yeah. I'd go all out to establish a three goal lead.

    Can't see them getting seven.

I reckon we go in and attempt to sneak in an early goal, their defence isn't great

    I'm detecting some sarcasm? :smiley-laughing002:

Ideally sitting deep and hitting them on the counter would be the best way to play it but having seen us try to do that on Wednesday I'm not convinced it's the best way to approach the game.

1-45 mins, offensive formation, they couldn't live with us,we were scoring at will, created nothing to trouble us.

45-60mins we sat deeper, they started creating opportunites, scored 2 quick goals, relied on a cracking save from Gordon to ensure it wasn't 3

60-90mins we revert back to an offensive formation, brought on Dembele, put them back on the back-foot, creating chances, scored another 2 goals

There's method in my madness

Keep it tight first half, and don't go chasing goals we don't need. The pressure will be build more on them as the game goes on, they'll get desperate and start pushing really high up the park leaving then exposed at the back. Should put a couple past them.

Their first goal come from our attack mate. It wasn't that we were sitting too deep. We were pressing for the 4th and got caught on the break. Much like the opening goal Malmo scored against us. We were all over the place for the second as we hadn't cleared our heads. The save from Gordon come after we scored our 4th.

As said we should just play our own game as we will score against them.
