The Brazilian keeper didn't have a good game. Lucky, the goal didn't count.:smiley-laughing002:

All about the money. The tournament has been a farce in every instance of its running. Lots of cash has changed hands with little result in the way of marketing.

It just looked horrible. Yet its probably the biggest crowd you'd get for a Haiti x Peru game outside of those respective countries. Could have looked quite impressive if in a MLS football stadium.

Chilean anthem played in place of the Uruguayan one, embarrassing.

Better than when Kuwait played the fake national anthem from Borat for this Kazakhstani sharpshooting champion

That was an excellent game. Mexico was fantastic to watch. I want to see Mexico vs Colombia somewhere in the knockouts.

I think Mexico is about 2-3 years from becoming the world power that their size, passion, and economic power has suggested. Their domestic league and development system are full of cronyism, but the rise of countries like the US and Costa Rica has forced them to fix many aspects of it. Some really good talent coming through at the moment.

Mexico have always had great talents, they're always doing well in these youth tournaments. Hopefully they can translate that into a good showing at the World Cup.

Mexico were fantastic last night, always a great team to watch as they play terrific football. I remember suggesting Rafael Marquez as a signing for us in 2011-2012 when he was in New York and got shut down because he was apparently past it lol. Glad to see them doing well. Mexico or Colombia to win the competition.

Apparently the South American federations are happy with the "infrastructure" (read: money) and are entering negotiations to get the Copa America and Copa Oro (Gold Cup) merged, creating a pan-American competition to be held in the US every four years. Would be great for the US program, maybe not so great for the history of the competition.

Argentine kit just doesn't look right without black shorts.
