Took Leicester from league 1 to the Prem and built the majority of the team who are winning the league.

He also takes no * at all. Could be exactly what we need. I would not be dissapointed if he came in.

Mahrez also came out the other day saying he deserves as much credit for Leicester and especially defensively.

Nigel Pearson would be an underwhelming choice as manager, did well in the championship to be fair to him but he wouldnt be for me.

That's a great shout. He was tipped for the Bayern job before Ancellotti got it. Did an amazing job at Monchengladbach. I could be wrong, but is he still out of work?

To be air Peason's record isnt too bad and he brings good experience.

He is however, a bit of a nut job.

He's had numerous run ins with journo's in england, dont think he cold hack the constant barrage of bullshit from the smsm. This job requires thick skin.

I think the media would have a field day with Pearson. Unhinged and the pressure would tip him over the edge..

Would be funny watching him strangling Halliday on the touchline though..

I think Pearson's backroom staff are still at Leicester so that may be an issue.

Lennon won't be back as a no.2. Nor should he.

Agree on Rodgers being #1 choice. Probably unrealistic though.

Whoever it is we can't impose an assistant upon him in the way we have done with RD. The new manager needs to bring his own team with him. Not saying there is not room for "a Celtic man" somewhere however not as his assistant in the way RD was given Collins.

I don't think we have a chance of getting Rodgers.

He seems to be a guy who is similar to Deila in a way in that he has a set philosophy he likes to stick to, would be interested to see how he would set a side like us up in Europe for example.

I suppose the difference is he is better at getting his ideas across in comparison to RD.

I remember when he had Swansea in the Championship. Pal's of mine who were season ticket holders at London club's were saying they were the best footballing side they'd ever seen in the lower league's..

He'd be a terrific appointment as well. Is unlikely though..

Wouldn't mind him bringing up the ageing Leon Britton for a year or so for that central midfield position, if it were to happen..

Very good contact's to tap in to also..
