Controversial opinion but I'd take Pearson.

I think Lenny 8/1 is a massive price.

Think Lennon will be the fall back, if we can't get our top targets.

I would prefer Lennon over pretty much every candidate mentioned barring Rodgers and Moyes.

I think Pearson is likely gonne be Villa boss, Moyes could go to Everton as Martinez looks like he may well be sacked.

If thats the case then its looking like Clarke, Lennon or perhaps a surprise appointment like Ronny was.

For ease of transition then i agree Lennon is obvious choice.

Spain has the best league right now, there has to be a manager there or in Germany who'd want to prove himself here.

You offer Pearson similar to what Villa are offering and there's only 1 club he'd pick European football, trophies or a club in turmoil like Villa

I disagree, he would pick the challenge of getting Villa back in the Epl.

I think outwith Moyes who it is very possible will go back to the EPL and Rodgers who we have almost zero possibility of getting then Lennon is the obvious candidate. Did well here before, knows the club fans and players and wants the job. A left field appointment I believe is very unlikely as the board you would imagine will be risk averse after Ronnys spell. My preference in order of those mentioned would be:

    Moyes
    Lennon
    Ivan Jocanovic
    Lambert
    Clarke
    Pearson

Dont want Mackay, Keane or Coyle near Parkhead.

Not really been mentioned much but if the board really pushed the boat out and went for Di Matteo I think that would be an exceptional appointment. He's stated if he was contacted about the job he'd think about it too... But then again I still firmly believe the board will play it safe and just go with Lennon...

This will go dead slowly, like everything at this club. We are taking our time so that we get the best man for the job. Then, as candidates come and go, they will appoint Lenny saying he is the man they wanted all along. Obviously not mentioning that every other * turned it down over wages and/or player budget, or the fact that Lenny would take the job today. And while they are dragging their heels preparation for european qualifiers is * up. Same old Celtic always sleeping.(The board of course)

I would be very surprised if the search wasn't going on in earnest at the minute. I expect a list will be drawn up with people being sounded out & an appointment announced almost immediately after the final game. The longer it goes on I would suggest that our number 1 candidate is either tied up e.g Keane or wants to wait until the manager merry-go-round kicks off in the summer before committing to us. e.g. Moyes. Neither situation is ideal as we need someone in asap to get us ready for the qualifiers & personally any manager that is keeping his options open before committing to us I wouldn't even bother with.

Then again this is Celtic & we'll probably take an eternity before appointing Stubbs the week before our first qualifier.
