    Dave -still can't quote you?

I know the manager is the easiest target to go after rather than the players (as seen recently by Mourinho).

The players don't seem to be playing for him anymore? Well, I think that is simply ridiculous to suggest that, really is.

You can see on some parts he may be liable for blame but not all of it, these players get paid thousands a week yet take little blame for defeats.

I only saw the last 20 minutes of that but what I did see was horrendous.

I am not defending Ronny but I think people are kidding themselves if they think he is solely to blame. In the 20 minutes I was watching a lot of players looked half arsed.

The instruction for the last 15 minutes or so seemed to be get the ball to Tierney and hoof the ball up to Cole. That's * pathetic football if you ask me and its when we start doing that against a team like Motherwell I really begin to question Ronny's 'philosophy'. Whats the point in having a footballing philosophy if you're going to totally abandon it when there's a slight bit of pressure on you?

Aye trying to play boyata as a ball playing defender like VVD is the sign of a great manager.

Yes, so awful we are still top of the league.

I have seen MUCH MUCH worse as a life-time Celtic fan.

    The guy is * deluded.

I just don't understand how people can be so blind to what is happening on the pitch.

I make you right, I was one defending him myself until fairly recently but when I realised I wasn't enjoying going anymore and had no motivation to dig out streams it was evidence enough to say maybe I was wrong, around the time of Molde sealed it for many of the last few apologists he had and I sense the ones still holding out are just doing it out of stubbornness.

I personally think despite the negativity we will still win the league easily but the product on the pitch and in particular 1 up front is my number one gripe and the reason I simply don't feel we can trust this guy to take us into the CL next season and after 2 years out of it we simply can't fail this time, we may well fall short but under Ronny I'd be expecting it and we simply need higher expectations than that.

There is much I like about him as a person but I think now is the time to cut our losses and I would have told you that at 5 to 3 and not as a result of losing at home to Motherwell.

The fact I'm writing this at home and I'm not at the game convinces myself if no one else that things are very bad indeed

You think those players were fighting for every ball in that game, Paddy? Seriousy?

I saw no fight at all, no urgency.

Well it's part of his job to make sure they aren't half arsed.

Find any manager for similar wage as Ronny that can develop a team on a small budget playing in the Scottish league selling the best players each season to get consistent success in Europe.

Ah come on. This is pretty disingenuous. You know there were people walking out of the Celtic Park today that were saying exactly the same things some have said on here.

We're top of the league because the rest of the league is * and barely has a penny to spend.

Being top of the * SPFL Premiership is nothing to write home about.

"I saw no fight at all, no urgency"

So Dave - you never saw the players trying to get a goal right up until the final whistle? I did.

This is a nothing statement are you trying to defend him by saying we couldn't do worse?

And to answer Neil Lennon done it

No. If Ronny Deila still had Denayer and Van Dijk in defence and one top quality striker then I think he could do a job.

This current team has no top quality players. The midfield is the strongest area and even then it's relatively weak.

More often than not Tierney is the stand-out player which says it all.
