I think some of you guys have been talking down Scandinavian leagues too much. Norway beat Croatia 2-0 and can go through to the Euros. Scotland is allready out. The same with Denmark and Sweden whos in the play offs. Celtic has no competition int the scottish league while there are many teams at the same level in the Scandinavian leagues which makes it competitive every game.

 

Can't believe i'm going to Turkey for the Fernebache game , don't even want to go to watch them bunch of clueless fools.

 

Molde have qualified after 4 games in group containing Celtic, Ajax and Fenerbache so massive credit to them they've been a joy to watch

its not just the manager is the problem its the board as well as we downsize every season by selling our best players for millions and we spend * all in return , there is no ambition in the board room to push celtic up a level in europe and just happy to win the league and just make up the numbers when we enter europe .

It's not like it's the first time they play football. They are professionals. They should be able to adapt to all systems.

 

I think that is a very good point, it is very likely they contributed to his success in Norway which is why we signed him. I love his big ideas and have always said give him time, it would be such a shame if he went to another club with his old backroom staff and became a success. It would say to me that our Board initially signed him as Lenny's assisstant so didn't expect any of his staff to come with him then when that didn't happen they got pie in the sky with Collins and Kennedy good Celtic men who would nurture the new guy? Seems like it was very arbitrary and not thought through.
