    Ireland winning the World Cup would trump Celtic winning the Europa League by some distance.

    Ireland winning the world cup would trump Celtic winning the CL just about I think but it's desperately close.

    I wish the Scottish football team all the best, but my team is Celtic, and my heart is with Celtic.

    I love World Cups and Euro's, I never miss a game if I can help it, and the tournament isn't in the least bit diminished for me if Scotland aren't there.

    It's mental.

    We watch Celtic pretty much every week (or twice a week a lot of the time). Whereas we watch our country play about 10 times a year.

    I think because our club plays more frequently than our country there is more of a direct bond and personal investment in the club. The club can also represent the country whereas the country - with players from other leagues - is less representative of the club.

    However either/or would be fantastic for different reasons.
