    Starting a business management course with Open University in January, doing it over 3 years , in what they call" full time" - i work as a bricklayer at the moment - self employed- so can take a day off whenever i feel i need an extra full day to study , although i have a fair bit of spare time in the winter because the weather is often too bad to work anyway . Hopefully opens up a few doors for me - we earn very good money down here on the trowel these days but i would like to think i could better myself and find a more fulfilling career.

    My mother went to Uni when she was about 30ish to do law.

    I didn't do very well in high school but I hope to become a teacher I'm doing the NC Business course do you think it would be possible?

    aye mate,on my course people have all different types of degrees.make sure you get some experience in a classroom though,maybe ask your local school if you can do some voluntary work.

    Either Business related or Electrical Engineering, one a continuation of previous studies the other a complete tangent but something more interesting. Both would be relevant to my current employment though.

    Electrical engineering is a good gig, opens up a lot of (well paid) and interesting paths.
