    Got ripped to shreds by O'Halloran on numerous occasions in that game.

    He was playing with a broken bone in his knee though so I'll let him off for that game.

    All came down to poor management and poor physio/rehab in my opinion. Deila had no faith in anyone at CB after Van Dijk left and bought in Jozo knowing he had a knee injury. Got rushed back bs Ajax and looked good but always regained the knock that has plagued him ever since. Really should've either not have been signed (at least in August) or shut down for 2-3 months to fully recover and get 100% fit.

    Kid had just turned 21 when we signed him. Been full time at Zagreb for 2 years. To have been that highly spoken of and represented his country at all levels u21 at that age bodes well.
    How he could be marked as injury prone with all that and at such a young age is anyone's guess.
    What I took when we signed him, was that he did have an injury when we signed - not prone.
    And since then we have rushed him back twice and finally bit the bullet and let him get on with treatment and recovery. Would rather not see him till October than rush him back for first qualifier.

    Where only joking, I generally cant wait till he is back I really liked the look of him when he played and with him and Erik at the back id generally feel we have a good young pairing there for next few years.
