The only park you'd be welcome to is a park full of landmines.

Its not like he ever applauded or put his hand to his heart when looking at Celtic fans flying the Palestinian flag or anything eh

Hugh Keevins is literally not welcome back. (Or has that changed?)

I wasn't looking to progress the conversation. It was a rhetorical statement.

You've said yourself that it should be should be plainly obvious that Celtic isn't literally a club open to all and that should go without saying but given that we're talking about someone who has shown themselves to be wholly intolerant and who fails to appreciate that such intolerant people are not welcome at Celtic Park, then it does need to said, unfortunately.

*chortles* Good one, old bean. *chortles*

You yourself said we wouldn't tolerate racism or homophobia or any other equally odious views in the stands, so make up your mind and maybe go a day without being snide.

My post was a general observation/attempt at humour, which obviously was unsuccessful.
Yes I did say similar. As I rarely read many of Cadetes posts , I would need to take your word that he is racist/homophobic , as the ones I have read I disagree with regarding gun control so that discourages me from reading many of them.
Not sure what the "old bean" jibe was about, but that would definitely seem snidey or snide.

Zero tolerance of intolerance? This whole conversation mystifies me. There are definitely racists, homophobes, zionists and people with fascist sympathies among our match going support; equally that sort of behaviour isn't welcome at Celtic.

Christ, wasn't there even an Orangeman supporter that died a few years ago? Apparently he was welcome yet anyone who tried to do whatever the * it is that Orangemen do at CP would presumably be politely (not) asked to leave. I suggest we look at racism, etc like that.

I don't really get the debate, if a Palestinian was good enough why wouldn't we sign him?

    Or is that debate?:smiley-laughing002:

It should be straightforward. No one who holds an ideology in which people are inferior as a result of something outwith their control should be welcome amongst our support. Whether that manifests itself as imperialism, classism, racism, sexism, whatever is of little consequence. I don't think the ethos of the support, historically, conforms to some kind of sanitised acceptance of anyone and everyone as long as they support the football club. Our support, traditionally, has been proactive in its opposition to those ideologies.

Of course. How else would you identify them?

Anyway, I've gone way off topic, so...

I honestly don't know what you're meaning by this?... Why wouldn't we be able to bring them to Celtic if they were good enough?

    It's a stupid question, that's brought a stupid conversation.

To them anyone who isn't left wing is racist and homophobic. Ive never said any even remotely racist or homophobic statements, ever. I am against gay marriage but that does not mean that I am against gay people, there is a huge difference. This is just another lame attempt to smear me and drag the thread way off topic.

No, there's not. Deny homosexual people equal rights then say you aren't against them, jeezo.
