Shaqiri is a little shitebag but a good player, good free kick and great save from Gordon at the end too.

I have faith for the return leg, however I can see us and Inter both scoring, hope the defence won't be as nervous and I reckon we'll squeeze it by a goal.

Out of interest.....is it true that Milan are planning to leave the San Siro and leave you as the sole tenants in the near future.

How do you fell about this if true?

When we won it in 2010 we had been waiting 45 years to bring it back to Milan (that mafia * under Berlusconi don't count) and 38 years to be in a final so I think we might have to wait a long while before we see the final again.

But I do take your point. The likes of Celtic, Ajax, Sparta Prague etc. that have been absolutely * by the money game will be waiting a long time for the bubble to burst. That said, its amazing how the Celtic, Ajax and Sparta Prague (I was at a Sparta Prague match not too long ago actually) support is amongst the loudest and most passionate in the world (and compared to England utterly amazing, I wouldn't go to an English football match if someone paid me because the crowd is just dead).

Just got in.Brillaint game to watch, even though i dont think my heart can take many more games like that.

That last goal was so important. We can honestly go to Italy believing we can take them.

Cracking game. Defensively poor but we went toe to toe with them and even had them under the cosh at times. I really enjoyed that. One of our best attacking performances in Europe in some time.

Sorry, some of that was mis-written. It was meant to be a criticism of us, not Celtic.

That said, if Milan do build their own stadium it would be a dream come true. Juventus would be caught in a great stadium, but lets be honest, a very small one. Milan would have to build their own, which would probably be sponsored, but would be small. We would be left with a stadium, that with one tenant, Milan city council would want to get shut of, which we could buy on the cheap. It would have a proper name, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, and would be big enough to host Champions League finals and other big events. Its also already know in terms of marketing, and transport to it isn't too bad. It would be a dream come true... Plus il Meazza é sempre il Meazza (for us to stay there is like ye staying at Celtic Park, home is home)...

I think it would be the launchpad for us to be a good, if not great team, but to be honest I would rather watch us in Serie D with players who actually give a * than watch us being taken the * out of in Serie A because we have players who are either completely incapable or who don't give a * and are happy to take the wages...

    And?

For * sake, this was a great result for Celtic and we will be * it when they come to the Meazza because all it takes is Celtic to sneak it and we go out.

    Shut up being so pessimistic.

    * sake.

I think it'll be another cracker. I can see us both conceding - seems almost inevitable. :smiley-laughing002:

What an incredible night. It's a joy to see us play so well against one of the true giants of world football.

We've got the real belief in us now to go to Milan and do a good job of it.

Away, I'd be tempted to play

    Gordon
    Matthews Denayer Virgil Emilio
    Brown Bitton
    Johansen Armstrong Stokes
    Guidetti
    ...
Why was Stokesy left out of the squad tonight?
    ....
Is the Inter line-up likely to change?
