    Aye, you're right there.

Either way, it could be a(nother) 'Group of Death' or it could pan out very well for us.

We might even get PSV or Zenit as Pot 1 opponents. That would be immense.

Or, knowing how it often goes for us, we could end up in a group with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid!

Why would you not want the Group of Bayern and Real Madrid though?

Two historic teams we've rarely every played in Europe so most fans won't have been to their stadiums and two of the best teams about the now. Would love to draw them.

Playing these two would be phenomenal. Especially Real as I've wanted us to play them all my life.

But unless the other team in the group is beatable then we'd be finishing bottom of that group.

I at least want us to finish 3rd every season but preferably be getting into the CL Last 16.

And with Bayern and Real in our group, that would be a long shot alright.

Nice read the last 15 or so pages about the upcoming game against my team Malmö FF.

Of course mostly optimistic opinions (reasonable on a celtic forum) and a some trying to warn for a strong Malmö on home ground.

But of we in Malmö go for a tough away game which I really am looking forward to. 1000+ fans joining, it's a big talk in town this play off game and the team is finally getting in shape after a shaky start this spring.
Too bad Markus Rosenberg isn't playing the first game, he's valuable for us and definitely a key player. My guess is that we will play 5-3-2 from our side, trying to get a few attacks with our speedy wing players.

Celtic obviously has the better team seen per position but Malmö can suprise.
My bet? You win at home with 2-1. In Malmö we win with 2-0.

Cause we want to progress that's why. Do you think Bayern are sitting there at the draw thinking, "oh a hope we draw Real Madrid & Chelsea? No! There praying for a * easy group.

The easier the group for us the better.

Bayern would probably think that, knock one of them out just now so they don't need to worry about them in the later rounds ye know.

    We're not Bayern though.

Give us as easy as possible eh

I think missing Rosenberg in the first leg will be crucial for you. If we keep a clean sheet and take a few goals over to Sweden I'm very confident we can go through. If we were to concede at Celtic Park however I'd be * bricks.

Before you talk about if you should play against Real or Bayern or other teams you need to beat us

2-2 can't be happy with that. Lucky it wasn't real :smiley-laughing002:

Don't worry bhoys, pretty sure kilmarnock beat us the weekend before we beat barcelona 2-1 - more than the nothing club from Sweden can say. We will crush them 2-0 at home and 1-0 away from home.

We have conceded once in 4 games in Europe so far 2-2 away with kilmarnock with a team that will probably see 5 changes for the game against malmo is nothing to be worried about.
