Hill. That will be the boy that had made his debut for Hamilton at 14 when we signed him.

    Wonder how he has progressed.

I'll fully admit with Nesbitt and Calvin Miller I'm taking FM15's word for it. But they are our two top-rated youngsters aren't they?

Calvin Miller was by far the best player in last years victory shield and i mean all home nations, not just Scotland..

Think he's playing and on the fringes with the under 20's and development, so only natural a 16/17 year old won't be standing out naturally and physically with the jump at the moment..

in a word no, Nesbitt is a good lad, young Miller imo has had far to much pressure put on him, a good lad yes but definitely not the top talent in the academy ....way behind Thompson, Nesbitt, Teirney to mention a few of the younger lads in the 20's

Shame that Tierney lad has had a leg break. Were high hopes for him was there not? Hopefully doesn't derail his career like it did to Paul George, but young players rarely break through after long periods out during this stage of their development.

    Never nice to see.

The timing of injuries to Celtic players either about to make the breakthrough or those just making their way in the first team is absolutely ridiculous.

Grant, Ferry, Maloney, Forrest, Kennedy, Beattie, Burchill, Sheridan, George all have a story to tell with regards to injuries either stopping their progress or in Kennedy's case ending their career. Even Henderson and now Tierney.

Amounts to nothing more than absolutely rotten luck.

Yep. Was only out 9 Months but as a result missed the run of games Lennon had planned for him post split - and with that his chance to make an impression.

Tierney would have likely played towards the end of the season. If we strengthen in the summer, likelyhood is the boy won't get a chance once he's fit.

Same story for too many of our genuine prospects.

I don't know if it's luck or the extent of all injuries but is there even a degree of hatchet men in the youths towards some of our best/most promising kids as it's them that seem to have career enders /set backs more than most..

I remember sevco had a northern Irish defender (can't mind the name)who they've released, wee hun * and he was sent off v us last year for repeatedly hammering in to Paul mcmullan who fortunately wasn't injured..

More than likely. Here's hoping he recovers in time and impresses again to get some minutes before the end of the season.

George I'm not surprised at as he just was never the same player as before the injury, Fraser was the same in some respect although I think he was also overtaken by other young centre backs coming through.
