He is probably the best striker in the world and was earrings In a place that was tax free so his wages should go up

I don't mind the wages to be honest. Would rather it going to the footballers than the businessmen.

How are the big transfer fees and wages horrible again? The players generate a lot of money and entertain millions. Who else should the money go to?

We should start by paying our employees a living wage.

And the transfer market in modern football is ludicrous.

To go where? We're a Scottish club based in Glasgow, so there's not much can really be done unless the much fabled Super-duper Euro league is eventually created.

Not to mention, if FIFA/UEFA ever did sanction a move to allow us out of Scotland they would have shitloads of other big clubs who are stuck in smaller leagues all wanting out as well, wouldn't they?

It's a headache they won't want, so it won't happen.

Hence we should stay in Scotland. Nice cushy easy CL route for us when we don't * it up.

I think we'd be in the conversation should a Euro league be created. We're maybe not a successful club on the European stage at present, but we're possibly one of the biggest sleeping giants there is.

Within 20 years we'd be competing with the likes of Manchester united, Barcelona and Madrid.

The transfer market is always going to be like that unless people al of a sudden stop watching football.

It's not up to football teams to pay the living wage. It would be great if they did but they would get nothing out of it.

I think it's safe to say that UEFA would want us (and the filth, unfortunately) in any Euro league, given the size of our fanbase and our global reach.

Aye but I doubt there would be more than 20 teams in it unless there where 3 divisions or something. I think we'd be in it but probably in one of the lower divisions.

That wouldn't matter, all that would matter is that we're in it. Once that happened we'd be on our way.
